Guys that Paulina person was nothing to do with me and due to a recent happening (which I can't talk about) The police are now involved, both me and my Mam have had to make statements.

That's awful I hope you and your mother are okay. x

The person is still posting on the Tesco site and using your mother's photo. Just thought I'd let you know.
  • Just been trouted at Mr S
Bought 2 x shine absorbing kleenex sheets with BOGOF MOC
SA "You have bought the wrong product"
    "You can only have one"
" This MOC is for £2.99, so you cant use it."
Me " The product is correct"
" The MOC states BOGOF so how can I buy one only"
"So the MOC is Mr S only and is BOGOF and is the right product so what your saying is I cant use it for the right purpose?"
    SA
"Yes - You will have to wait until they are not on offer!"
Me " The MOC expires today"
    SA "Oh Sorry"

Was going to congratulate Ben and jerry's on their frozen yoghurt:rotfl: But could make the tub bigger:rotfl:

It's unfortunate that you do actually have to have two tubs (in my case)

Thank you so much for you kind words! Gosh, nearly well up...!!:p

Just back from whoopsie trek, Tesco's = 0 Sainsburys = 6 ... does it depend on the store what time they mark everything down? Last week I went to Sainsburys around 6.45pm (before (mis)fit club!) 3 night and that is good for whoopsies, but not got the hang of when Tesco's do their marking down.

Never once had anything from mr a up here as I can never seem to work out what time they come right down at.

mr t just depends usualy around half 8 ish

whereas mr s is where i get most of my things, like clockwork at the same time every night :)

Can't do the tiles yet. Waiting for the Tesco Topps Tiles vouchers to arrive before buying and a bit of prep to the existing floor and walls:(. Although it goes against my MSE nature, OH wants to get a tiler in to do the floor so we can crack on and finish the utility room before starting the main job(complete kitchen refit:eek:)

Anyone had any experience of current floor tiler labour costs? It's 12m2 of 30cm x 30cm porcelain tiles onto existing partly porcelain tiled floor. Sorry to be a bit O/T but no time for Tesco news. Should really post on the DIY threads but at least on here I'm usually guaranteed a reply(whether useful or not:rotfl:)

2nd batch of washing on... taking a break to watch the GP highlights. See you all later:)

Should be less than a day with grouting, £150 max or DIY.
No experience of floor tiles, whether they are cheaper/dearer than wall tiles; but I was quoted £60 per sq M for wall tiles recently. I thought that was:eek:, so am doing it myself.
You could also ask over on the DIY board for a ballpark figure.

That is properly taking the p 1ss.

Good on you for DIY, shout me for any help /tips.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

The one with the red angry faces is my darling sister..HI SIS

You should see my pantry can't get another thing in it, currently got over 1000 nappies among other items..
Got over a £100 worth of food for £15 yesterday with various deals and coupons..

Poeple do what they need to right now, I don't think anyone should be judged for getting by..

And they were over the top to be fair....Earthday made some valid points that you'd do well to make a note of!
Please try not to be greedy or unkind to people. Most people are just trying to get by.
    Hope this makes you think.

  • Made a really big mistake today in T's, they have a working scanner and I normally scan everything I think may be cheap, but NOT TODAY!
Picked up two baby monitors (the ones that go in the bedroom and where you are) and took them to till to price check, stupid or what!!, only to be told one was not on file and one was 22pence... Cannot believe that I did not scan it myself, of course they said they could not sell it to me at that price, so everyone, scan all tatty looking or old looking baby monitor boxes you may get a pleasant surprise.
Am normally more on the ball, must have been that they were just closing and I could'nt be bothered to walk back to scanner, that will teach me. lol.

    afternoon all

didnot brave mr T today, had to rush back as heard on the grapevine that MIL was tidying my bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but been on a palmolive run to mr S:D:D:D:D:p:p:p:p

big thanks to whoever it was that posted about putting the SS till on mute and also to the other poster who suggested folding up the coupons before going to the store to avoid faffing when get there -worked a treat, had a nice little production line going lol, SA didn't bat an eye lid

sainsburies foil is only 57p it is only 15m compared to T's 20m but T's is 90p,

got lots of whoopsies, Sa was really friendly and pointed out the twin pack of napolina olive oil that's been scanning at 75p :eek::eek::eek::eek: i had walked straight passed it in the entrance-shelf was unmarked, i made the mistake of asking her how many i could buy and she asked a manager who was a total trout and snorted 3:mad::mad::mad::mad:, she even phoned through to the confectionary counter where i was paying to tell them i was only allowed 3 as well. There was another non uniform staff who was buying some that shouted across to me "we want some for staff you know your only allowed 3":mad::mad::mad::eek::eek::eek::eek: i only had 3 in my trolley, i kept my cool and ultra polite manners explained that unfortunately my sister's DH has just had major heart surgery in his 30's and i would have loved a couple for her but they didn't want to know :(:(:(:(:(

so i have donated 2 of mine to my sis:A:A:A:A:Ashelf was empty by the time i left the store anyway,

raced to our other mr S where there was none of the same ones so i don't know if this is just random stock they are clearing

then got overcharged on some whoopsie youghurts in mr A:T:T:T asked for a £2 gift card, gave me some smily coupons, what on earth are they anyone know???

asked her what the policy was as my SIL who had been overcharged last week and doesn't drive had to go back to the store especially on the bus and wasn't offered a gift card, she snorted[STRIKE] it is up to our own discretion [/STRIKE] you have to ask for one:mad::mad::mad::mad:

as far as the term "trout" goes personally i donot feel it is specific to T's I have encountered many Sa's who fit the picture at Mr A and Mr S, i don't shop in M's often enough. I think many of them do act as if it is money coming out of their own pocket and I wonder if this sort of thing does affect bonuses etc, it is a rare and refreshing breed that will admit the stores mistake, apologise and offer you the gift card or DTD with a smile
