before starting the main job(complete kitchen refit:eek:)

Anyone had any experience of current floor tiler labour costs?

Not sure about labour costs for the tiling.. its worth paying slightly more for floor tiling..(being a well travelled section) as a good job will last!
secondly dont worry about the 'main job' .. I put in two new kitchens last year on renovation projects.. managed to fit all units wall and floor, and tiling, got a plumber in to fit the sink pipes etc, electrician to hook oven up and sign off sockets etc, and a good joiner to fit the worktops..
saved a lot of money as the kitchen fitters quotes were astronomical:cool: good luck

Made a really big mistake today in T's, they have a working scanner and I normally scan everything I think may be cheap, but NOT TODAY!
Picked up two baby monitors (the ones that go in the bedroom and where you are) and took them to till to price check, stupid or what!!, only to be told one was not on file and one was 22pence... Cannot believe that I did not scan it myself, of course they said they could not sell it to me at that price, so everyone, scan all tatty looking or old looking baby monitor boxes you may get a pleasant surprise.
Am normally more on the ball, must have been that they were just closing and I could'nt be bothered to walk back to scanner, that will teach me. lol.

Ah don't worry it's impossible to get every bargain, I was trouted on the Fisher Price 58 pence  baby mobiles a while back (remember them?) Argos had them for about £27:eek:

I was a bit thick and took it through a manned till, took it off me of course. But about a month later in the same store I spotted it on a top shelf and bought it through SS till, couldn't keep the smile off my face!:T:T:T I felt so proud!

Do you have any details of the 22p one please in case we see any?

    TIA!:D

Guys that Paulina person was nothing to do with me and due to a recent happening (which I can't talk about) The police are now involved, both me and my Mam have had to make statements.

I hope you're able to get this sorted quickly Miss Laid:D , it's also a timely reminder that posting pics of yourself or relatives is probably not a good idea as you never know what weirdo may use them!

    Hello all :A

Having a bit of a down day so I've just been lurking for a while :(

I just wanted to say that I'm not Earthday incase anyone thinks it's me :( Though I don't think Earthday's post is anything to be ashamed of, like FK said, I feel that there are many points that we would all agree with and their second post definitely softened the 1st for me.

And Miss Laid I'm really sorry about the mean, spiteful so and so over on Facebook and that it's obviously a much bigger issue than just a few snide comments by a faceless poster. I really hope you and your Mum are ok and it's sorted ASAP. Seems whoever it is, has issues with more than one of us as it's redfox he/she is attacking now! :(

Then the very best of luck Looby, do hope you're successful in finding lots of lovely goodies :)

what a waste of time!!! I think I must live in a very affluent area - everyone seems to buy everything full price!!! Theres a few piddly things put out at half price at lunchtime - and they all go!!!

Managed to get a bunch of bananas for 29p...and punnet of plums for 50p ....think they must have over ordered on the plums as both Ts had hundreds of punnets all reduced!!

Got to S at 3.20pm....absolutely zlich there too :(

ah well....was always jealous of peoples whoopsies while I was at work...now i know theres no need as I wouldnt get any :(even if I wasnt at work...makes me feel a bit better using this skewed logic :rotfl::rotfl:
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
