    Evening all!

Back from my girlie evening, which was good except that one of the group was missing as one of her 2 cats had to be put to sleep :(

Her other half (thankfully!) had a half-day and went home to find poor Pointy (called this as he was half-siamese) crying and unable to use his back legs. He rushed him to the vet who diagnosed a clot and tried to sedate him but they could see it was futile and he was in so much pain, they decided the kindest thing was to put him to sleep. My friend is such a cat person and I know she'll be crushed, it's so sad.

Luckily my friend Sue who's just out of hospital, was able to make it but ended the evening feeling really ill and unable to leave the loos, I think it was probably her first big meal since leaving hospital and it overtaxed her system. I hope she's not still suffering, we had gone out in two cats as a 3 and 2 so the one who had taken her stayed and we three left as we knew she'd just get more anxious/ill if she knew we were outside waiting for her.

A nice night had by us all though, t'was lovely :A

Been checking the 3 for £10 wines in Asda against T's. Not found anything offering DTD as good as the Rose yet...will have another look tomorrow
    Time for bed now.
    Night all!

Just been starting to look myself. If the offer stays on Asda, this looks like quite a good offer:

Banrock Station Reserve Chardonnay Verdelho Australia (750ml)

    8.99 in T's x 6 = 53.94
    4.78 in A's x 6 = 28.68

    25% = 13.48
    JTD = 25.26

    Cost £53.94 less 25% less JTD of £25.26 = £2.53 a bottle for an £8.99 bottle

Am sure I read somewhere that JTD was capped, though, and can't remember what the cap was??

I wondered if anyone could help me please, I know quite a few people have quit smoking:jWell done to you all. I wondered if anyone had taken zyban to stop and what the side effects were. I've been given an option of two tablets to take for my cfs and zyban is one. They've run out of options now and I don't fancy the other one as they have to regularily monitor liver function.
Obviously one side effect should be that I stop smoking.
    Thank you.

I would hate to put anyone off stopping smoking, but if you can do it without Zyban try a different way.
It gives you the most terrible headaches, nightmares and sleeplesness.
The sickness is so bad I had a week off work thinking it was a bug.
    Bad breath and depression.
I guess you could say Im not a fan, I have used it twice, and stopped both times, however I was soo ill, tired and unhappy I went back to the fags within any time.
I stopped last time by saying when I had finished the duty free I had in the house that was it, and it was, I went cold turkey 18 months ago and have never even had a puff since.
Good luck, I really hope you can do it, but be aware of the dangers of Zyban.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

I second this...we went in 2010 to Great Yarmouth on one of those cheap Sun jolidays (was excellent!)...and went there for the day...went up the walkway and looked down on a tiger laying in the sun...only for my DD1 and nephew to shout....'wow look at that'...and there was a tiger asleep 6 inches away from us on the ledge behind the mesh wire!!! It was awesome!! Will try and post pics tomorrow from the PC :)

Same here, I loved it, I spent AGES standing just staring at that tiger, I couldn't believe I was THAT close! I love tigers, I think they are the most beautiful wild animal there is so I fell head over heels in love with him/her :D
