Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
just had a major embarrassment at my local Ts tonight, I lost my purse and only discovered it gone when I went to pay
Two lovely SAs helped me search the store (an extra!), I checked my car and rang my mum to see if it had fallen out at home but no it hadn't!!!
I'm so angry with myself I've lost my bank cards (all now cancelled), my loyalty cards (also reported as lost and new ones coming out), luckily I'd only a few pence in there but I've lost a few of my wombled £5 off MOCs but still have 1 for this week and one for next week thank goodness :).
I'll have to run to my bank tomorrow with my passport to lift some cash to tide me over until the new card comes out but I must admit to already missing my switch card, couldn't even get fuel for the car :(

Things can only get better :rotfl: If I didn't laugh I'd cry :D
    SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
    SPC 2014 £1100:D

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

SD, I'm sorry for your troubles. You are right, things can only and will get better - you're just in the home straight now. Grit your teeth for just a bit longer and you'll get there. (It may even be found and handed in by somebody, I've had that happen when I was a student abroad).
    Hope is not a strategy.

still too expensive for me, hoping they do a B1G2F sale again, last years was amazing, got so many fragrances on sale price and b1g2f, then they wen down to 1/2 of sale price and b1g2f, they might as well have given them away:D:T ask issyc;););)

Celebrate, I remember this. In fact, I am still receiving counselling... :rotfl:

I think that Barclays are opening tomorrow for the first time on a Good Friday. I'm sure I read this on a news site today.

For everyday wear, Crocs fans, you can't beat (the nicer, sexier), Flyflots.

Sorry, just to clarify, I meant the nicer ones among the FF range, not that they were nicer and sexier than Crocs - from the pics posted here, they're clearly polishing up their act :D
    Hope is not a strategy.

SD...Hope your purse turns up. Did you drive to T's....if so have you checked it hasn't fallen under the car seat or down the side of the door? I've had that happen to me.

    NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK will have to do a bank transfer to my mums account and then she can lift it for me, it's just my luck as it's my brother's 30th birthday tomorrow and the only reason I was in Ts was to pick him up a bottle of Jack and a card to go along with the cheap prezzies I bought earlier in the year.

Well I'll just smile through gritted teeth as he's now anounced that he wants to go out for a meal, one where we pay for everything
I wouldn't mind but we done the same for his 21st (both DH and I were skint) but when it was my 21st I was very pregnant with DS so sat there while everyone else stuffed their faces and on my 30th everyone was skint so ended up with DH making a meal for me (which I loved and better than any meal out) but now it's my brother everyone's supposed to just fork out for this fancy place where I won't eat anything other than chicken and it'll probably cost near £70 each for me and each parent.
Add to that we're also going to a house warming party at 7pm on Saturday too. I've been very MSE and bought a lamp from Ts reduced from £20 to £3 that will go with her decor.
