    Right.....I've started checking the wines.....
Found one to start off with

    Black Tower Rose
    Asda 3 for £10 - 6 bottles £20.00
    Tesco £5.99 - 6 bottles £35.94

    JTD £15.96
    25% discount £ 8.98

    Total to pay £11.00 = £1.83 a bottle

Thanks Purdy, I'd be grateful for any confirmation on the JTD as I missed out on the rose on the M&S glitch x x

3Dogs - Wonderful of the CAB woman to sort you out so quickly and how lovely of the chippy lady! Aww!

Glad you bought the manuka honey as well, it's brilliant stuff, will really help him! And we love you too xxx

Was that in a zoo? Sad if it is.

It was at Thrigby hall wildlife park. The thing is that I don't see it as sad, zoos these days take great pains to ensure the welfare of the animals and try to emulate their natural wild habits as much as possible. Longleat is a prime example, brilliant place!

I have, thanks, but nothing doing x
Lutzi, have you used Google to try for a solution yet?

Just google the model number and the problem you have (e.g. no sound); you'll be amazed what turns up.

YouTube is, believe it or not, another awesome resource for finding/solving hardware problems. Just search on the main YouTube page for your model number. You may get a video showing a 'first out of the box setup' and you'll spot where you're going wrong (if it is you, of course). hth

    Hi all. :)

Got my welcome email from SSM.
    Hi Old,
Now you've joined supersavvyme, we're guessing you're a savvy woman on the lookout for the best products for you and your family.
Hmm... Now I know how FK feels at times. :p

And, yes, I did sign up as Mr Old Bear, as I do with many things online. Latest to arrive today was my Wrights Home Baking Club welcome pack. Addressed to Mr Old Bear. :p

Gives my lovely postie (and he is) a real giggle when he chaps the door for these things. :D

    Evening all :D

Spirallingdown I am so sorry to hear about your purse. Good to see you looking on the brightside though - that you hadn't withdrawn your money. It's so frustrating when things like this happen but staying positive is so important - it would be all too easy to worry yourself stupid about it and that wouldn't change anything

Purdita do we know when the 25% starts? I've seen the adverts for 50% off certain wines but not the 25% off 6 (is that what you've seen??) There are some cracking deals on the 50% off wines if it starts soon - the Hardy's Stamp are already 50% off so to get a further 25% would be amazing

And even better if you can find some OOD SEL with a 3 for £12 deal :j

Off to finish catching up now

Great achievement Sharon - well done that girl :j :j

    I can feel the love :A :A

I am off to bed now, didn't mean to stay up this late but was working my way through replying to pm's , but before I go - if you have a Lidl near you, check out their weekend offer which is valid on Friday and Saturday this time, being closed on Sunday of course. I checked and they have packs of 2 Lamb Shanks in either Rosemary & Mint or Rich Red Wine & Rosemary sauce, on at half price, normally £4.99 but will be £2.49 which is a fantastic price and they are gorgeous :j :j You would need to enter your postcode on their site to check as they do sometimes vary the offer in different parts of the country but if your local has this offer, I highly recommend it

So night night guys - sleep well :D:D

    Coo-eee all :)

    Hope we are all well?

I have just seen the T's advert for wine too but I thought it was 25% off certain wines and 50% off certain others not the 25% off any 6.

I cannot rewind due to me changing channel sorry!!!!

Just before I go, I checked the website of Thrigby Hall wildlife park for admission prices as we may have a trip over, and there is a discount voucher on this page > here :j

I've just noticed on the Price Checker site that they refer to amended Terms of Service and that point #1 states:
Price comparisons for in-store purchases are based on what the customer actually buys and the date of purchase or delivery. This includes price reductions and promotions (such as "half price" and "buy one get one free") but not store or category wide promotions such as “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off” or linksave promotions (such as "buy cheese and get crackers free"). These are excluded as it is difficult to make fair comparisons. Products that are purchased on a "reduced to clear" basis will be compared at the price paid at till.
Has this always been the case or is this new? (I don't normally read T&Cs)
