  • I purchased an item from WAE+ on 30th June 2013 via the internet.
The item was shown as being IN STOCK. I waited 10 days and it had not been delivered.I contacted WAE+ and was told it was NOT IN STOCK and was hopefully in a shipment coming from Germany.
I cancelled the order and was told that I would have to wait a further 30days before I received the refund.
It is now well over 30 days since I cancelled the order and despite repeated telephone calls and promises I still have not received my refund.
There are numerous websites covering customer reviews on WAE+ and there are 100's of NEGATIVE REVIEWS from customers who have received exactly the same appalling service as me.
I have no idea how WAE+ are allowed to trade, advertising stock they do not have, taken payments and then not refunding the customers.
In hindsight I wish I had researched WAE+ before parting with my money.
If you are thinking of purchasing anything from WAE+ PLEASE BE VERY AWARE.
  • Same story as others, but the order has been delivered partially in May 2013. Still fighting for the refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
  • Same here. Ordered camera beginning July, repeated excuses as to delay, cancelled now no refund after two months. They ignore my emails, and the number on the website gets you through to their "overseas office" who won't connect you to any management. I wonder why. What they are doing is no less than theft. Credit card company now looking in to it. I can't believe they are still being allowed to trade online. Just a total scam.
  • Ordered an SSD on 14th July that was shown as in stock. No sign of it after a month when they said 10 to 12 days. Called and their answer was 'problems at European depot and it would be 10 to 12 days before I received the item'. Waited 14 days and managed to get in touch again (a miracle) and the reply was exactly the same, word for word 'problems at European depot and it would be 10 to 12 days before I received the item'... Like the guy was reading a script perhaps.

Mailed them, they cancelled the order as they said they could not supply the item at all and now I can't get in touch to see what's happened to the refund. They are not replying to mail or answering the phone.

I really wish I had read this forum before trying to use them. This has not been a good experience and if the refund doesn't appear very soon I will be following the credit card company and trading standards route. DON'T USE THEM!!
  • Waeplus website is down for 'maintenance' :o
  • I have just received a letter from Baines and Ernst (administrators) to state that WAEplus are now in administration !
Luckily I only had a small order with them, under £5.
There has been many complaints about them on websites as I expect many of you will now know. I made the mistake of being fooled by their advertising and di not do a quick check beofre ordering. First (and last( time I do that.

  • Yes confirmed the company is in administration. They have requested any feedback on the way WAE+ conducted their business to be sent to wae@becorporate.co.uk
  • Another sucker here

Found their website was down for 'maintenance' today and the phone line was saying they had a large number of calls and to use the website, then it went dead.

They've been lying to me for around two and a half months now.

Feel so silly I did not research them, I was taken in :(

Hoping that my Visa Debit card has sufficient protection. Bank are sending me some forms. Will just hope for the best. I suggest that anyone who is not sure what to do should contact their bank.

Browsing the web, places like TrustPilot and so on it looks like they got a lot of people.
