I had a pair of waterproof jods by Splash once. They didnt fit me that well - I'm an odd shape - which is why I never replaced them .... but ...they are actually waterproof and not a horrid sticky fabric but felt like quite nice cotton. But...a word from the wise the waterpoofing gives out if you use the wrong stuff in the washing machine :cool:

I have decided that I may just have to get wet legs for this winter and 'splash' (!) out next winter. My jods will probably dry out quite quickly as we are accidentally cantering up the road

It was less funny when I forgot he had done it and then stuck my hat on my head earlier.... I think I need a shower ...:D:D

I think I must be in luck, the pony came in yesterday parched and downed his water bucket, so went to go and check the trough in the field. It was fine but surrounded by soggy mud so I'm thinking he just doesn't like to get his feet wet!

Aww bless. Ours doesnt drink much at all. Think she gets all she needs from the grass.

I hope they all did ok with the storms last night (horses!) and everyone else didn't sustain too much damage. We lost a shed window but that was it so not too bad.
Off to Glasgow tomorrow - hoping the wind dies down before I get on the plane - could be a bumpy one!!
