Hope you made it to Glasgow safely! Mr W didnt go to work because no trains at all. Glad all horses safely accounted for and no storm traumas. I left mine in because the elderly chappie simply refuses believe he can stay in the field after about 6 pm. I've tried pointing out he is a british native ...but he simply isn't having it all and cannot see the point of the field where there is a stable to rest up in!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Made it up north and back safely and luckily it wasn't too bumpy and all on time! Watty - you must be in the South somewhere then as my OH had the same issue!!

On the money saving front I now have £8k saved towards my field (which still isn't going through quickly!!)
We also got our annual mortgage statement thru yesterday and we OP a whopping £90k in the last year.... I reckon that's gotta be a cause for some bubbly on the weekend???!!!
Looking back I have no idea how we managed to aquire £90k - will have to read back thru my own diary :)

I've joined the grocery challenge today, hopefully that will add a bit more to the mortgage pot.

It's a monthly challenge on the Old Style Board where you pledge how much you will spend on groceries and attempt to decrease the amount you spend. I noticed in my money manager on my bank account that I'd spent over £200 this month ( did stock up on offers of soap powder etc)at the supermarket/co-op so I'm going to attempt £175 budget for November.
