Morning Floppy. I looooovve the idea of fundancy!! That really made me smile!! I am reasonably confident in my industry
I think that delivering a high profile project this year will help me. I probably should get the Prince2 qualifications and am going to talk to my new manager about this on Thurs as they are expensive! He is also being made redundant next year so I'm hoping this will mean he will help me
I didn't ride yesterday either as we'd had thunder and lightening and I was too scared to risk it!!! My new high viz only just fits my fattie but doesn't go round me
I have heard your can get waterproof jods but have never tried them????Mortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

Hmm yes get as much done now as you can! That is the bonus of sticking as an employee - all my CPD stuff is paid for, I also get mileage paid for too which you would get as a contractor, could help a lot if you are rural?
Haven't tried waterproof jods although I am looking at some waterproof fleece lined over trousers (not chaps!!! they look werid and you have your bum out, why?!) which I may invest in (£34 from Robinsons). I can't imagine waterproof jods would be stretchy or comfy against your skin?
PS Mr Floppy just commented how good it would be if we were all local to have mortgage filled hacks, anything to avoid listening about it himself!Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

I do occassionally ride in waterproof trousers but they are a bit slippy! I hate chaps I agree they look weird! No rising trot either or you will get a wet bum!
I reckon thats a great idea from Mr F! My OH would appreciate it and he wouldn't need to listen to horsey / MFW stuff! We would have to learn to complete a spreadsheet whilst sitting on a horse - possible me thinks!!Mortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

Ahh but Dublin ones have grippy bum patches and elasticy stirrups so they shouldn't rise up?
Your hacking plans could work after a good gallop but ex-racehorses and multi-tasking is not on my agenda for now, even getting around the mengage safely in the first 20 mins is tricky. From the smug look on his face (I fully groomed him yesterday) I would say yes, he totally did it on purpose! Then he poo'd in my tack bag, just managing to get a bit in my hat too :mad:Mortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

Another day of working at home and London tomorrow so work will pay. Have managed to finish the pay month with £70 in my bank but then spend £22 on horsey stuff
Have put the rest into my 'field pot' which is looking good - although lots of issues with the conveyancing means it may end up as the mortgage pot once again!!
I wont spend any more until pay day on Friday - honestMortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k
