hi all!
Good to hear about people's successes so far - I have had a default letter from Egg today - felt really down so rang them and they've accepted the DMP, just had to default to stop interest & charges
So that's 3 down, 4 to go. Think I am going to go for it with my bank charges as well. Think I could have quite a few from my HSBC account and it would help pay it off! They're being rubbish so not going to worry about it!

Hi all hope you had a good weekend.
Has anyone had any dealings with MBNA???? I'm really worried about them as I've heard and read in other posts that they get quite nasty!!!!

Evening all
Hope you've all had a good weekend. I'm normally off on Mondays but am working tomorrow due to other people being off.
Nothing much happening here. Sea posted last night about reclaiming bank charges which led to me reading the forums for hours on reclaiming bank charges. I'm wondering should I claim mine? I worked out last night that since 2005 I have paid £1478 on one account and £970 on another one. Co-incidentally these accounts usually end up OD by £1500 and £1000 each month. These are with Hellifax. I'm wondering if it's wise to try claiming whilst the visa is in a DMP with them? If I thought it wouldn't effect the DMP or they wouldn't close the accounts I'd go for it. Any thoughts? If successful this would sort the ODs once and for all.
Scared, I haven't any dealings with MBNA.0 -
hi
With regards to the different accounts - I was told by HSBC CC that they are a completely separate dept to my Overdraft and grad loan HSBC debts so while they've accepted the DMP, the others might not. This makes me think that it probably fingers crossed! wouldn't affect my CC if I started the reclaim.
Might be wrong, as can't be sure, but if they would clear those debts, then I would definitely go for it! You would then have more money to pay off the CC so really they would sort of benefit too...
