    * £18.10 a week for the eldest child
    * £12.10 a week for each additional child

So per year 941.20 for first child and for the other 4 - 2516.80 so per month = 288.17or I think we're paid 4 weekly = 266 per payment.

They'll be working it out per month and we get it every 4 weeks so that could be where the discrepancy lies?

    Hi everyone.

I am still waiting to hear back from Barclaycard, Capital One, Studio and Great Universal and there was no post today so hopefully I will know more tomorrow. It's frustrating not knowing if they will or won't accept.

I have been having a little read to see what you have all been chatting about today and I agree I am also going to open a savings a/c for me otherwise the money will just vanish into thin air!!

I aim to spend £50 per week for food shopping on 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 3) and sometimes manage to do this if I meal plan for the week.

Sea78 - Thanks for the cheesy pasta meal. My children love brocolli and pasta so i'm sure they would love this. I will give it a go and let you know what they think.

Anyway got to go and cook tea. Will catch up with you all later.

Thanks sea that sounds lovely - I'm starving now!!!! I will try it next week and let you know how we get on.

Sea - I noticed you have a cc with citi. Have you found them ok?? As they are driving me mad I just had another call from them and the woman is getting really stressed with me. She keeps saying they have not received the finanicial stmt and can not help me or accept untill they have. CCCs have said that they are lieing and that they have sent it 3 times now.

child benefit for us - first child £18.10 a week
    second child £12.10 a week

    hope that helps.

    xxx

Scared - there have been no problems for me from them (so far, said that about barclaycard and then got DCA letters!!). They've stopped interest as well. We'll see how long that lasts! Sorry can't be of more help!
