    Hi everyone.

Teecee - Glad to hear you are feeling brighter today. As so many others have said you really do have a fantastic brother. Can I borrow him sometimes please?

I get paid on 25th so plenty of time for my payroll department to sort something out. I contacted them yesterday (11th) and was told they hadn't received forms for change of bank a/c and the cut off date is 8th! I asked if they could issue a cheque but no such luck.

Smilealot - The person from Barclays advised me to withdraw my wages quickly on pay day as it was unlikely they would transfer money to loan a/c arrears that day but couldn't guarantee it so i'm panicking a bit now. I think I might take the morning off work and go into my local branch and withdraw all funds. Can I do this or is there a limit for counter withdrawals?

Hope you are all having a good Saturday night. OH is playing on PS2 (boys will be boys) so I can happily sit on here and chat to all you DFW's.

Hi Lisa, I'm not 100% sure about counter limits. I know atm is £250. Can you maybe ring in advance? Or maybe someone else will know. Got my fingers crossed for you!

Out of curiosity, how did you guys find this site? I came across whilst searching for info on Google regarding IVAs after speaking to DebtLine. Someone was looking over me that day, as I don't think I would have handled all the stress without the support and advice I received from everyone here.

As for my Sat night, I'm marking test papers... the joys of teaching. All the holidays, I know, but I spend most of the time working!!

Anyone seen Eurovision? I flicked over and saw half of Scooch, they we quite good!!

Oh no, YM, sorry I didn't make it to the party :( I planned to pop in, but realised that I had to crack on with my marking or I wouldn't get to bed until the late hours of the morning again.

We'll have to host a party at some point... I'll help plan the nibbles :T

Take care poppet, hope your DD gets well v soon. :rolleyes2

  • Hi hardleylisa. As far as i am aware it's your money and you can take as much as you
Like from the counter. Take some ID as well just in case but i don't think you will
    need it.

Not heard from HSBC yet but i have opened another bank account with Natwest in preparation. As soon as the card arrives i will transfer everything from HSBC and claim back bank charges as well!

Had an expensive week. Bike got a puncture so had to go and buy a new tyre £100. I know this is not an essential but it’s about the only thing i can use to clear my head and arrive back home with a smile on my face during stressful times.
Also car exhaust is blowing and MOT is due next month so will have to go and buy one of them on Monday. I will fit it myself so should cost no more than £70

    morning everyone.

well got home last night to my youngest DD vomitting everwhere. She settled down about 11:50 and we had just cleared up the mess which ranged from the top of the lampshade to the tip of my nose(I KID YOU NOT) when my Eldest DD started screaming about a big green monster in her bed. Must not let the MIL stay again :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So for the first time in about 6 years( My eldest is 6:p ) i have had a sort of mini lay-in. Seeing as i did not get to bed till about 1:30 sort of cancels it out a bit. Never mind.

Hope you all have a good day. Us yellowmonkeys may be going to a boot fair depending on the weather and then Daddy monkey has work.

Will catch up with you all later.

    Morning amani.

smilealot. The meal planning is going OK at the moment. Very time consuming but worth it in the end. Hope you managed all your marking last night.

    Au Revoir
