Hi guys :hello:
Welcome to the newbies iam69, dr jekyll and anyone else I've missed.
Good to hear creditors are starting to accept. I'm loving your kryptonite strategy YM :T
My DMP is all over the place at the moment. I'm getting annoyed with PayPlan again as I really need to speak to them to get details requested by my creditors. However, I work until after 5pm every day and don't get a minute to call at lunch as I have pupils coming to see me so need to be in the staffroom, and it's not exactly the place you want to advertise your money issues!! Also, I did manage to find 15mins to call them last night, but was holding for 15mins and had no sign of getting through. I've only got my mobile and run out of free minutes so it was costing me a fortune so I hung up (had to start tutoring too). Anyway, I left a message asking them to email me as I couldn't call again this week during their office hours and I've heard nothing. Sorry, I know I'm moaning but wanted to vent. I really want to work with my creditors to get all of this sorted, but feel there are so many silly stumbling blocks in the way.
Well, I need to crack on as it's busy busy as usual (SATs today - I didn't sleep a wink thinking about how they'd get on due to selfless reasons and because we now work on performance related style pay!!!).
Love to all, will say hello individually soon.

Debt at March 2007: £26,728.32
Current debt: £00 -
hi all,
in post today.received the termination letter from mint.14 days to pay the debt or will pass to a dca.said arrears were £9 but didnt memtion the overlimit charge.said the interest would be still charged till end of agreement so dont know if thats just a standard letter.tbh im getting so i cant be bothered to ring or contact them cos i get so fed up of going over the same thing all the time and the mint cc debt was the smallest of them all and they are such a pain in the a*** cos no-one talks to anyone else.in the same post had a mint letter saying what a good customer..blah,blah,blah.if you want anything, please dont hesitate to get in touch.i thought "for god sake, cant you lot get your act together!!"
welcome to the new members.not much good on names ,but please stick around and ill try to remember you all as we get to know everyone.when i have been away and have missed a few pages, its hard to remember what everyones up to but am glad this thread seems to be picking up again.always seems to go quiet when the dmp payments kick in until one of the creditors starts to mess about and then the stress starts.you just think you have it under control then something happens to spoil it.
anyway, here i go again with my essay as per.(you all know me so well......)
take care and hope all is well.

sweety83......hope your dd is ok.bit scarey, especially when the hospital say keep watching for 24 hours for concusion JUST IN CASE.you get the headache as well!
amani......im69 was right.saw it on this site last week and thought "good idea" although im a bit too old for all this text speak and sometimes takes me ages to figure out the abbreiveations(spelling???)
newlywed......serves them right at the bank.should give more people a job.its your money and you can get it anyway you want.
dr jekyll......dont worry if the creditors say that they havent heard from payplan cos it seems to take ages for the dmp to be acknowledged, mainly cos the creditors know they will lose lots of interest and charges but persevere and it will be alright.
sorry if i forgot anyone, am going now but ill be back!!!!!!!

Morning all.
GE Money have started ringing me again. I've already told them about CCCS. They have also written to me saying my account is overdue and need payment immediately - at the bottom it says if you are having financial difficulties contact National Debtline or CCCS and we respect these companies and take them seriously!
I hope CCCS hurry up and contact them because their phone calls are doing my head in! I keep telling them about a DMP with CCCS, have written to them twice but still they ring to ask if I'm a home owner and tell me I owe them money.
Mint wrote the other day to say sorry about your financial difficulties. Here's a default notice. Now they have written to say they want to keep in touch in case I need to fund a holiday or a new car!!! Uh Huh?? 6 months ago they wouldn't give me any more credit when I was fully up to date with payments but now that I am behind in payments and doing a DMP they suddenly want to keep in touch in case I need MORE DEBT???
At least they aren't phoning me every day like GE.
Hope everyone else is having a quiet week.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Just a quick question....
How long before I can expect a password from CCCS? I want to log on and check they've got the paymentworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
hi all,
newlywed........my password came in a small booklet about a week after they received my po slip for my first payment.be careful cos its upper and lower case mixed so if you imput all in one case it wont let you on.works ok when you change to the password you want.only thing was when i looked at the balance sheet i couldnt return to the previous page so had to use the drop down menu next to the web title to go back to where i was before.
might be ok now.havent been on for a bit as i had to amend the bals to higher cos of the charges and was bit disheartened to see all the debt in black and white!!!i know its my debt but still scarey!!
mint are a total waste of space, arent they?did same to me.wish they would make up their minds.
hope rest of the gang is doing ok.no post yet so cant put my mind to anything till its been. just looking at the bank a/c and even though its all accounted for, still dont know what im doing with it all.MUST, MUST, MUST get a grip on the spending.seem to be food shopping alot and nothing to show for it!
enough of my dilemmas, will catch up ron.regards,xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Afternoon everyone,
newlywed mine came about a week after my first payment also.
feeling very down at the moment peeeeeeeeeeed off. only had 1 except our DMP so far all other creditors just keep sending standard letters with the same old crap, make up your missing payments and adding interest and late payment fees. i know its only early days yet. They all have at the bottom of the letters if you are having difficulties contact CCCs, natonal debt line.
Another thing getting me down is my hubby started work 2/4/07 was claiming jobseekers previous to this. signed off on the 31/3/07. still to this day they have not closed his claim. due to a fault on the system and has to be shut down by a specialist team now, have you ever heard such rubbish. they owe us £300.00 for mortgage payments, due to a mess up by them in febuary. they wont pay us this until the claim has been shut down. its now been about 5 weeks. My mortgage company have been calling me about the arears have explained to them and they have been very good about it all, but thats not the point, they should have been paid weeks ago.
sorry not on the subject but needed to talk about it to freinds.
