I could kill my parents. They are so  inducing when it comes to money. It needs to be drummed into them - you are skint, beyond skint. Sky is not a priority and neither is a fridge which is the right colour/size/without a handle

Hi guys, quick question. Have just mailed everything off to CCS, have sent the Notification of DMP to all my creditors. The bank (First Direct) has called...do I call them back? I'm unsure how much CCS deal with my creditors or how much I am supposed to do..? When I get nasty letters/calls should I ignore them, direct them to CCS...or what?? Thanks. Was feeling brave about my DMP but now I'm worried. Scared actually.0

Hello crokeria,
Don't worry you are in the right place the people on here are the best!! I am only just starting my dmp but have found that if I do get a call (which is unusual as I have asked all my creditors to write) I phone them straight back and say "the cccs are dealing with my financial affairs and my client number is xxxxxxx please would you wait for them to contact you? They have been fairly good after this little quote,
(except Nationwide and MBNA)!!!
Its a rollercoaster some days you can take on the world and others you want to crawl under a stone but we all have these feelings and what is great about this site/thread is the amazing support we give eachother:T :T
Take Care

Hi Crokeria
Its up to you whether you take the phonecalls but if you do don't get drawn into a conversation just explain you are in a DMP with CCCS, quote your CCCS reference number and tell them they will be dealing with it. It is scary at the beginning (mine started 1st March and HSBC still refuse to recognise it) but remember you are in control and you are doing the right thing. Hope that helps.
Hi to all, hope everone is well - can't believe how quiet our club is at the moment!
Love and hugs

PS: Anyone read about the single mum taking the Hellifax to court for harrassment from all the calls/letters regarding her overdraft. Comes to court sometime in May the outcome should be very interesting!I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0
