    thanks sea78 for your concern.
amani, forgot to say about dmp.before cccs i was on my own dmp from 1996 but started with cccs cos you send one payment for them to distribute instead of me taking 13 giro slips to bank on different days to pay and foning 0870 numbers for more slips, etc.good luck with yours.x

    thanks ILGD

I dont understand though, have you had to have your DMP's excepted again because you changed to CCCs?

    Hi Everyone

Just a quick post for now.
ILGD I'm sure mint can't do that without giving you time to get the balance down to the lower amount. Get in touch with the banking ombudsman.

Sea Bank of Scotland always used to say they hadn't received details from cccs even though they had been sent at least twice. Out of all of our debtors they have always been the worst, yet we have our mortgage with them and apart from the charge we are getting this month due to my error they have always been great as far as that is concerned - different departments obviously.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are having a lovely afternoon. We had a spot of drizzly rain this morning for about half an hour and it has been lovely ever since albeit a bit cooler.

    So where are you Smile?

    Hi everyone...

Not been on much recently - lots of work, but also the weather's been so nicely over the last few days, it seems silly not to take advantage of it!

Aside from that, I haven't had anything of note to report - no letters of any note (good thing), and am really just counting the days until the 25th when the official first payment I made to CCCS gets distributed out to all the creditors!

I do hope everyone's okay though (still wading through the posts - as ever, good advice coming through!).

    Take care all,

    Joe.

  • amani,
my fault for not explaining about the 1996 dmp.had diff set of circumstances and mostly paid debts off but still paying two of the creditors from then but cos it was my own dmp, they kept upping the payments and was trying to manage.then got into more different debt(yes, i know!!!) so in the end i couldnt cope and told cccs of every debt, even the old ones.they srted them all out for me.
think im an habitual credit spender and i really believe its a disease.anyway ive paid only cash for everything since starting my dmp and feel so proud.hope that makes it clearer.xx

  • scottishmummy-foned mint and they explained they send the default letter then 2 weeks after send the termination letter then 4 weeks after that they stop all the charges.they have accepted the dmp but its procedure.think they do it to scare you into paying but can pay so i wont pay!!!!
just marshall ward to sort now.may have got rest sorted, for 6 months at least i hope.
    catch you later.x

Kelly - I'm struggling at the moment too with the budget. I think I'd be ok if it were just me and hte kids to consider - I could take tips from IA's thread about being so organised.

I only have the CCCS guidleines about the different budget pots - did well last month, but am floundering a little! Sometimes I so wish I was still on my bigger wage packet (well, who doesn't???!!!) but in order that I would be able to throw everything at the debt and also have a set amount from OH each month that I could be sure of. He's not giving me any money at the moment (but still buying beer and going out). Arghhhh.
