Hello all
Sorry you feeling down 95kelly sending hugs your way - I know that feeling well -I find myself looking at other peoples trollies in Asda and wishing I could just buy freely. Envy is a wicked monster like debt and nicotine addiction and I suffer from all three! But on the bright side just think how much you can spend when you're debt free - no credit of course!!
Sea must admit I struggle with the "budgeting" too and tend to lump it all into one pot and have never yet met my target!!
Huntress how do you do it?? I can't imagine feeding my brood on £32.50!!
ILGD you really are doing well - wish HSBC would give a positive response but thats highly unlikely!
Smile still not been in?? Where are you?? Have you decided to stay on your hols or was it you who won the "big one"??? Hope things are okay!
Sorry if I haven't mentioned you - not deliberate finding it hard to keep up.
love and hugs to each and everyone of our ever growing club

Hello my lovely DMPer friends!!!
I'm sorry to say that I'm not the lottery winnerLaughed my head of when I read that though!! Of course, even if I did win, I wouldn't just disappear. I'd need to post to invite you all to my DMP party
I've missed you since I've been on my travels. Had a hectic old time of it. Got back late on Sunday night then started back school on Monday morning - it's been busy busy busy since then, so not had a chance to call in.
Congrats to those of you who got your two stars :T Gutted I wasn't around to congratulate you at the time. Sorry I can't catch up with all the posts, I can't justify the time at the moment unless I take it out of my 6 hour sleep allowance. Still, at least being so busy means I don't think about all things DMP related (ignorance is bliss for now!). Hope everyone is getting on well. Big hugs to those who need them, or needed them since Wednesday.
The funniest thing happened to me on Thursday... I met this guy, started chatting. Nothing was happening, just chattingAnyway, we got chatting about our jobs and I found out that he works for CCCS :rotfl: I couldn't believe it. I didn't really want to say I was on a DMP, as I'm still feeling a bit ashamed. He was talking about what it's like etc. He he.
Well, I need to hit the hay, so I'll bid you farewell. I'll hopefully get more of a chance to say hello individually tomorrow. Thanks so much for asking about me guys, it's lovely to feel missed.
Keep smiling!!

Morning all.
Sudden panic came to me this morning in the form of an email from CCCS...
I'd emailed them to simply ask them if my Direct Debit was in place. They replied, confirming this, but then added the following...We have not received a payment from you for April. The cut-off date for
us receiving payments is 10th of each month.
Please let us know if you are going to pay your creditors direct this
month or if you wish to pay double next month so we can amend your
Direct Debit
!!!
Strange that, as I went into the CCCS site, and saw that my money was definitely with them.
Luckily, a quick phone call to them confirmed things to me (I think the confusion lay in the fact that my DMP was officially going to start in March, but due to various bits and bobs I had to delay by a month...)
Anyway, all sorted now, and I'm panic free again!
Have a good day everyone!Chuffed to be member 11 on the DMP mutual support thread.

Hi Guys,
Really need a hug!!!! Nationwide cc are really putting pressure on! I phoned them today as they just keep sending bog standard statements with the interest piling on! Anyway snotty boy about 12 told me they had not received my offer from cccs and they were today sending my account to solicitors!
Phoned cccs and they have sent offer again, so phoned Nationwide again got another bloke who said yes they had the(original) offer but it was not enough and they were going to take me to court and have a charge slapped on my house!! And until court said otherwise they would continue to add interest:mad:
Anyway phoned cccs back in tears and they said take no notice, but easier said than done.

Uh oh. They are one of my creditors. What do they do if you aren't a home owner? Take you to court anyway?
Sorry, hugs to neith and winkus on this one. It's what I was hoping a DMP could avoid.
Edit: winkus how much do you owe and how much is your payment to them? (if you don't mind me being nosey).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Morning All
Hope everyone is well.
Neith sorry your feeling down:grouphug: Hope things ease off with nationwide.
Sorry I haven't been around I been too ill still not feeling well but will get there in the end._pale_
Have had four positive with the creditors one I haven't heard from and barclays and littlewoods sent letters telling me to ring them, they don't have my phone number and I don't want to ring them because of this.
Just wondering If I could write to them and say I will only deal in writing with them.
I know that If i withold my number they can still activate my number because it is a call centre, not sure what to do. If I ring them they probably will try and pressure me into making more of a payment which I can't do.
Hope everyone has a good day with their post.

Morning everyone
Valley - sorry to hear your still not well. Hope things improve soon
Neith - I would imagine they are just putting the frighteners on you to try and get you to pay up. It is more likely to go to a dca first. How much do you owe them? If you speak with them again tell them there is no equity on your house.
Winkus - the above goes for you too.
Hugs to you all:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
Smile - great to hear from you again. Looking forward to hearing more about your weekend.
Everyone else I missed out hello to you too and hope things are looking brighter for you all todayThe person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

Thanks Scottishmummy
I have decided to write to Littlewoods and Barclays and explain due to my illness I am unable to contact them by telephone, see how it goes.
Just wish I could of gone down the cccs route, but at least four of them have agreed to my payments.
Hope the weather is good for everyone.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the hugs, feel better now. I have told the Nationwide I have no equity in my house but they say they don't care, if I was a tennent they would accept my payments as they don'y really have a choice. I don't know how they knew I have a mortgage, anyway I can't pay anymore so tough, I will have to see what they do.
cccs said it was all bluster and like you guys say they are more likely to sell the debt.
On the plus side over half my creditors have agreed some have not responded and two like MBNA and Nationwide won't accept.
Take Care all and thanks guys you always know how to help.
