    Hope everyone is well.
I have had two statements from creditors this morning ignoring my dmp arrangement and asking me to phone them, although I have had two accept my arrangement for six months.
I don't want to ring them because I am feeling vunerable they will try and make me agree to making more of a payment which I can't do. And I don't want them to have my new number.

I rang nationaldebtline this morning and the lady has told me to that it can take months to sort out, and for me to keep paying my token payments.
Sorry I am not around so much I am having very bad health problems._pale_
I am sure the stress isn't helping,
    Sorry to ramble on.
I hope everyone has a good day with their post.
    Luv ally xx

    Morning all!

Well I have had the identical experience with HSBC 95Kelly! Well, apart from being offerd the managed loan. they won't accept DMP and will go for the amount another 5 times and then admit defeat and chase me for the money - meanwhile the charges are mounting up - I don't have any guilt in claiming them back now!! Drives me mad but I don't know what to do about it!:wall: Well done on getting your 2nd star! :)

Amani - might be worth sending another one by recorded delivery and then you can honestly say you have done everything possible if it gets taken further?

Joek- yep, treasure hunt - loved it!!

Michelle - your day out sounds fantastic and well done on keeping it in budget!

Rusty - great news :) Hoping that Barclaycard, who've been ringing, will say the same!

newlywed - my HSBC CC was perfect - they accepted straight away! They are not linked to the loan or current account depts. Howver, my OD have not accepted, despite the fact it *was* my lowest creditor (now charges and interest it's not any more!).

YM - have you tried hoovering the keyboard? Or perhaps getting a little damp q-tip and cleaning in between the keys or taking them off and cleaning with a q-tip? :)

I've got a letter from egg saying they're referring me to an external debt collection agency which is oppostie to what they said they were going to do so all confused! Might ring a few creditors today!

  • Thanks 95Kelly and Sea.
I am not going to phone them this is probably annoying them and that's why they are not replying to my letters.
Sea hope things are a little better with you.

Mind you it is good to know that you are all here.

    Morning everyone

Just a quick visit just now to see how everyone is doing. I see it is mostly good news for you all.:T It's a great feeling when you know your creditors have accepted AND stopped charges. Even those that haven't yet when they eventually sell to DCA's it always seems to get sorted.

We have one DCA that keeps offering us F&FS figures and as they are our smallest creditor we probably could scrape the money together but don't want to then have the others asking where the money came from so trying to save up a bit more so that can offer CCCS a lump sum to divide between them. Hopefully bank charge refunds will add to that. Going to spend the weekend going through statements to check I have them all. Don't want to bother with asking for statements as I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to anything official and always keep stuff like that. Just maybe not all in the right place:rotfl:

Valley's girl - hope you feel better soon. Just pop on anytime you can to say hello.

    Kelly congrats on the star:T

  • Hi all again!!

Just been out to buy the kids some clothes as they are popping out of jeans and skirts!!! I went to a shop called sportsworld. I don't know if any of you have them near you. I got kids three pairs of Jeans and two shirts / blouses each. These clothes are all branded as Scooby Doo and Barbie. The whole amount cost me £35.81!! Can you believe it? The shop is having a sale with 70-80% off!! The proper bill should have been £133.91 so I saved £98.10!!! What a bargain and the kids look cool as well and more importantly, they actually like the clothes!!!

I am still waiting for my welcome pack through from the CCCS but they have assured me it is on the way. I feel so much better now knowing that things are nearly on their way to being sorted. I don't feel afraid of picking up the phone any more, now I just tell them my client number and to send information in writing as I am not prepared to discuss on my financial affairs on the phone!! Works a treat! It is such a nice feeling having money in my purse for a change. I hope you are all ok and coping with your DMPs. I can't wait for mine to kick in on the 1st May.

Sea, mine's a CC too...wonder why the difference...did you let CCCS do all the chasing and negotiating for you, or did you call too? Also, can I ask how much debt is for and how much you are paying?
