Hi I'm back ... dd has an ear infection (again!!) atleast he's given her antibiotics this time (wish he'd given her them 2 weeks ago though!!) no1 son perforated his eardrum at uni but thankfully okay now - being refered for a scan on his testicales as he's found a lump - Dr not too concerned I'm sure its just a gland (fingers crossed).
Welcome Crokeria you're in the right place!
Winkus congrats on getting the interest stopped - HSBC just ignoring me!!!
YM good day for you too - my dh always moans about how long it takes to put the washing out - but then you will all keep wearing clothes and getting them dirty!!!
Newlywed hope you're feeling better - must be a pain feeling unwell when the weather is nice.
Franny congratulations on the charges fingers crossed HSBC sort mine out - although my experience of them suggests they'll be as awkward as they can!!
No one has been deliberately left out just can't fit you all in, my good wishes are with you all though! Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Love and hugs
IDA

Hi.
Sorry me again but I have a question that has been troubling me. When we work out our budget for the month do you take the totals out for food etc and keep in jars or do you just leave all the money in your account and use when necessary?. Not sure what to do for the best.
Another one. Is it best to set up some king of savings account for emergency's/rainy days?
Regards

I leave the money in the account, cash round the house would be too tempting!! I keep a spending diary (or at least try to) and I have a building society account for saving extra money - but so far its empty. Always find a use for that "extra" money!! Really do have to budget better myself I'm really struggling with it (£65 to last till next Wednesday - eek) and so admire all the people on the forum (particularly IA) who seem to make their money go sooo far!
Glad you're feeling better Crokeria - its good to know we're among non-judgemental friends isn't it.
Anyway buzzing off now as the sun is shining the birds are singing and I'm hitting the garden with the mower.
Chat soon. Love to you all.

hi all,
re crokeria-i have 13 creditors and am with cccs.i only pay £5 to each of my debts so, yes ,you will be ok. highly reccommend cccs.all went smoothly and started my first payment with them in march.now pay one dd to cccs instead of 13 bank giros and dont have to remember as cccs do it all.will take me around 26 years to pay off (yes, scarey i know) but at least i am paying it off and no interest charges(well almost none when certain creditors agree).
if i had been single and had no house then probably would have gone bankrupt but will keep wading through the treacle,if you know what i mean.
welcome and good luck with your nearly debtfree life!!!People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with
