    Morning all!!!!

Can anyone explain to me why I sit here all morning waiting for my post just so I can report it to you lot!!!!:rotfl:

Todays findings was an MBNA cc statement with ZERO interest and NO late payment fees!!!!!:j Still got a 2540 balance but its nice to see what I pay off via cccs is going to pay off the debt rather than the interest!!!!

Also a letter from Halifax to say my BOS mastercard statements have been ordered and should be with me in next 10 days. Hopefully I can reclaim the charges on it. The BOS card was taken over by MBNA last year which is the card just previously mentioned so I might be able to reduce that 2540 balance soon (((crosses fingers))))

Right now the post duties have been done Im off to get dressed. Yes I really am still sitting here in dressing gown and kids in pjs!!!!!

Might take them to feed the ducks today !!!

    Have a lovely day all

    Hi.
First of all welcome to everyone above. I can assure you that as a relative newbie you have definetly came to the right place. Loads of usefull advice and laughs on here.
Just read through the many posts since I was last on and I am sorry to hear of some problems for some of you.:grouphug:
It is a lovely day here in the south. probably warmer down here as we are nearer the Equator:rotfl:
No horrible post for me and logged onto my Payplan account and the balances have been agreed with EGG.:j Only F/Direct and Argos to go. No news is good news as they say. On one of my agreed balances with EGG the loan amount is actually £1800 lower than on my statement. Hopefully thay will stick to that amount and perhaps they have stopped interest etc. Fingers crossed.

Hope you have a good day and as a modern man I am off to Hoover, polish, clean out the kiddies wendy house and hang the washing on the line.

    Speak to you soon

    YM

Any advice as to the Lower EGG amount would be appreciated

Hi everyone, I agree it's a lovely day today. For the first time in months saw women in summer dresses and bare legs in the city - makes a nice change from the boring old suits! Heart sank when I remembered I didn't have the money to buy any new summer dresses!

Yellow monkey, can you tell me, how do you know when the plan has been accepted just from looking at the justabank site? There is no column to indicate when a plan has been accepted. Also how long does it take from the date Payplan sends your financial statement to you getting an answer from the creditors (I know there is no rule - just an average)?

Sea - I am not loking forward to dealing with HSBC from what everyone is saying. I am soooooo glad I stuck with Lloyds and never changed my bank account to them, when I took out a credit card. They should spend more money on understanding their customers rather than advertising how well they "understand other cultures"!!! They sound like a nightmare.

On a lighter note, I am going on holiday too. To Marrakesh!! Been saving up for ages but we're doing it really cheaply. Going with 4 friends + hubby and staying in a medina, in the middle of town. Flights were only £100 each and the room is costing £120 per person for 7 nights, which I think is really quite cheap for such a lovely place. It has its own pool and a chef!!! Unfortunately, I'm not going until the end of April and feel very envious of those going tomorrow (though not of the airport queues!). Anyone been there before? Do you have any good DFW tips on how to have fun over there whilst on a budget?

Good morning to you. After I have done my jobs today I will, probably need a sit down. Just catched the bumper of my car as well so trying to touch that up as well. Volvo estate's are so long I dont think I will ever get used to not hitting the kerb, posts etc

    Regards

    Morning.
Feeling bad today. Got bad hayfever and have no tablets left :o

So need to get a food shop and some medicine today. Feeling very tired with it too and fuzzy headed.

Still need to put a load of clothes and bits on ebay but can't quite find the motivation. MOT and tax run out this month and no money to sort it either. Dunno what we will do without a car as work will take an extra 40 minutes each way, buses will cost more each month, there's no buses to collect/return the step-kids and can't afford taxi for Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri evenings, let alone when we have the kids all weekend to entertain. :(

But... got my cheque book today for my new account!! Just waiting for the "debit card" and then it will be all systems go for the DMP. Have transferred OH's savings out of my account into his new savings account, so that will be safe soon. This is the first account I've set up since.... about 15 years!! Other than debt accounts of course :o

Need to ring up later and see if they will take PPI off my loan or try and bribe me into taking another loan. :o

Feeling very jealous of everyone's holidays - don't even know if we can afford a couple of days away for our anniversary next month.

I dont think the plan has been agreed yet but it was just nice to see something positive even if it was an agreed balance left to pay off. As for when the creditors get in touch regarding agreement I dont know as I have only just started this DMP lark. I know there is not a column for when it is agreed just one for when balances are agreed. Still it was nice to have some progress.

Have you got any nice summer dresses to sell ;) You'll also need to be a
