    hi all,
just to let you know that my grandma died today.was 94 and although its sad,i felt it was a blessing in the end.
was just thinking somwething like this puts the whole debt thing into perspective.its only at a time like this that when someone asks, what would you choose.money or health?that you start thinking seriously.
so to all my creditors out there, who think my debt is so important, i assure it isnt........and when they are badgering me on the phone for a few more pounds towards the debt......i only wish i could talk to my grandma over the phone....
so to all my friends here i say......its only debt so stuff em!!!!!....for today anyway.
god bless grandma.youre in a better place than me.xxx
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

    Hi guys,

Deary me, what terrible days some of you have had.

ilovegreatdanes - so sorry to hear about your grandma. Think of how proud she would be at you getting everything sorted. You are so right about putting it into perspective. I'm thinking of you.

Totally - I completely understand about not wanting to post sometimes. I go through extreme phases. Monday I was on here all day, don't really feel like it today as it's making me think about everything and I don't have the headspace today. However I saw your message (and ILOVES & Sea's and realised how important it is for me to show support to you guys). Big higs for the Warrior situation. Keep us updated.

Sea - what's happened? I hope you're okay. Anything I can do? Sending you lots of happy vibes and cyber hugs.

    Take care everyone.

Hello, I am a new DFW. Having spent the last six months or so antagonising various financial institutions (reclaiming bank charges!) I have realised that I am flailing around in the murky waters of debt and need to deal with it. I am due to start a debt management plan with CCCS on 1st May and was wondering if there was any advice or tit bits of info you would like to share with me?

Sent my forms off last Monday week & been waiting to hear back from CCCS so I can tell my bank I'm leaving them because I've gotta pay off my overdraft with them.

But CCCS got there first. I didn't know they were going to do that - so now, of course, I can't draw out the money to pay CCCS. My own stupid fault for not drawing out the money before - but didn't realise I needed to.

Haven't sent my creditors the letters yet, was waiting to hear back. What I do now goD alone knows - there's no way I can find £188 before I get paid again. It'll be before the 25th - we get paid on 20th - but they want the money now.

Can't phone them now so have e'd them and will have to phone them from work tomorrow. Anyone else been in this situation?

Right, gonna see if I can catch up with this board now!

Hope you're all well & looking forward to Easter. Luckily, I've still got about £20 to last till payday...

    Hi everyone

Sorry to hear so many of us are having !!!!!! days, try to stay strong everyone it can only det better;)

VivCk - If I remember right I think Joek had almost the same problem, (might be wrong) first you need to contact CCCS as soon as poss, tell them that you will be unable to start DMP on date originally agreed and explain why, then set up a new bank account asap and get your wages paid in there, so your wages are yours and the bank can't get to them first.
I'm sure this might be quite common!!

Above all else try not to panic, you will get it sorted hopefully fairly quickly and without too much stress. Hope this helps a bit!!

Sea - Hope you are ok!! Is there anything I can help with? You know we are here for you if you need us!!:grouphug: :grouphug:

I've actually had a fairly flat day today, not done much just pottered around the house. Was going to take DD to see the Mr Bean film but going with my friend and her DD on friday now.
I have just had a pamper party with my DD (aged 8 ) She absolutely loved it!!
Got the face packs out, cucumber slices, nailvarnish curling tongs.....you get the picture abd had a really lovely time with make-up and popcorn, so not a great day but a nice evening!!

Hope everyone else is ok love to you all,

    teecee xx
