Aaarrrrghhh.... just woken up from a three hour or something nap. Was great but I needed to spend that time planning tomorrow's lessons. Now I'll be up late doing it - sniff sniff.

Does anyone else have problems keeping themselves awake when they get home from school? I know the answer is more exercise... hmmm.

Just wanted to pop in quickly and say thanks to lonely - that explains a lot. Thanks bundles for the advice, I'll try to sort it out tomorrow. It's good to know what I'm doing before I do it, if you know what I mean?!

    Right, here we go.

    Hello lovely people!

Just a very quick look in to see what's going on - another 'no mail' day for me, so that's a win.

Plus points today - should receive a wee bonus in next month's pay (not much, but basically the equivalent of a months-worth of petrol, so that can't be bad at all!).

Just regarding folk's problems hooking onto CCCS -

Have to say I think there's a period (short though) that whilst you can access your details, it takes a while longer for the 'statements' thing to fully activate - certainly I got errors all the time at first, but suddenly it all worked fine.

Anyway, I'm off work tomorrow, so I can spend quality time on the forum (as you can tell, I have nothing better to do:D)

You all take care, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Morning all. Sorry not had time to catch up. Was off work yesterday and ended up with a million other jobs to do.

My new account details came through. Just waiting for the card and cheque book now. No overdraft has been listed so that's ok. They say it's a visa debit card too - so hopefully not electron.

Then will start to move wages across and cancel DD's.

Just one question, I have PPI on my loan - should I try and get this removed before my DMP as then the payments might be less anyway? Or are Mint likely to make me take a new loan at a higher rate if I do this? Anyone know at all?

The less time to pay my debts, the better ;)

Hi Newlywed, I think a lot of DMP companies insist you get this removed first. Check but I'm sure I read this about PPIs on the Payplan website.

Thanks. Will have a look. Didn't see anything on CCCS's website about it but may have missed it, so will check. I removed PPI on my cards as it was killing me but still have it on the loan so will try and find out if I can get it removed.

  • Hi Newlywed your post just reminded me that I have PPI on my loan as well - I've just given CCCS a call and they have said to cancel it - as it will save you more money! :D

Cheers that's saved me asking CCCS. I will ring the loan company tomorrow and see what they say ;)
