Morning all!

Another pleasant lack of post today...The only thing I got was my first bank statement from Citibank - it's a positive amount:D Sure, it's not 'really', but it's a nice psychological plus really!

newlywed - Definately cancel the PPI on your loan if you can.

No post for me this morning so looking forward to a hassle free day, weather here is not great so think I may have to give in and take DD to the cinema to see Mr Bean (really not my thing!! aarrgh!!)
Still if it means I get some peace it will be worth it.;)

Morning everyone!!! Day off today so very happy about that!!!! Managed to have a lie in too!! NO bad post today just a statement from next!!
No phonecalls yet either, so it might be a quiet day, although i have been quite lucky with things like that. Its just so nice not having to worry about what payment needs paying this week!!
Anyway i hope everyone else has a stress free day.

Teecee: I am going to Egypt in May, it was bookd before i had my LBM!! but will be nice to have the break, anyone been there before??

Morning all

Just checking in. Have had a rather uneventful morning so not much to psot but thought I'd show my face.

Have received my first pay packet since February 23rd. Phew, it's been tough but strangely I feel better for it.

"What doesn't kill us can only make us stronger".

I logged on CCCS website yesterday to find that they are still listing a creditor that I paid off a while back. Wee, they actually took the money by DD before I had chance to cancel it so had to manually removed that from my list, before you ask I did tell the CCCS.

Well, hope you are all staying strong.

Hi Everyone

Haven't been on for a week or so so thought I'd let you know how things are with me. Sometimes I just can't face coming on here - I know you're all fab and the advice is great as is the warmth but sometimes I just can't bring myself to come on and say hello - does that make sense? Perhaps it's just me being silly. Anyway, this is how things are with me......

Egg, Next & Yorkie Bank (O/D) have all agreed to Payplan's pro-rata payments. Not heard from Yorkie Bank (loan), Citi or Halifax as yet. I'm hugely relieved.

Warrior have been total and utter bankers (replace b with a w) and have said they now don't agree with our payment to cover my payments (Payplan's payment protection scheme) and that it's £20 a month that could be going to creditors! We've explained that now DH is no longer HM forces we don't have job security and this would cover DMP payments only but they won't have it.

We received letter from their solicitors over the weekend and they say that according to Warrior we have not advised them of 'valid' reason for not paying! Basically if we don't pay they're going to issue a CCJ.

We sent a 3 page letter back yesterday and have appealed to their better nature (ha ha) and said we are 100% committed to paying off all our debts and perhaps they could do as our other creditors have done and given us the opportunity to prove we will make regular payments and that basically we have nothing more than what Payplan have offered. We have also asked that they stop all their charges as they are just increasing our debt everytime they add one!

Hopefully someone will see sense tho' I doubt it!

We've cancelled 1571 on BT so no one can leave messages - mainly aimed at Warrior who are taking the mick and ringing, leaving messages and charging £12 for the privilege - greedy barstewards!

Have started taking Kalms as this week I'm in a constant state of anxiousness - my stomach is just churning constantly and sometimes I feel like I can't get enough breath. I still hate coming home, I still panic when the phone goes, I hate the sound of the letterbox and I'm not sure that right now I feel loads better but I do feel slightly more positive altho' having to face another 10 years of this is a truly terrifying thought!

Anyway, I've waffled on for long enough now - best wishes to everyone, hope you all have a good day!

First off - can I give each and everyone of you a great big hug for being the nicest and most understanding people ever!! (((hugs)))

I wish we could have a massive night out together - it would be such fun!!!

Not much through the letterbox today. Just a new agreement from cccs including my dh this time!!!!

Just got the kiddos ready to go out and realised that I have mislaid my bank card. Last time I saw it was Monday. Phoned the bank and new ones been ordered. I think it might do me a big favour as I wont be able to be tempted now!!!!

Told the kids to take thier shoes off and flop back down in front of the tv as no bank card means no money which meant mummy in BAD mood!!!!:mad:

Still no joy loggin onto cccs site???

Oh well - time for a coffee!!

Totally, you will get there. I'm not saying that you will ever get used to it, but as Warrior calm down (and they will) I'm sure the feelings you get when the phone rings or the letterbox flaps will get more bearable. It sounds like you are suffering from anxiety attacks - have you talked to a doctor? I felt like you a few weeks ago, but as I read more and more about other people's experiences, I feel reassured that these are not personal attacks but just tactics to scare people into paying more than they can afford. They know that a CCJ will count for nothing if a court rules that you cannot pay any more than you are stating - and that is why you should see this for what is it at the moment, an empty threat.

Kelly, yes I have been to Egypt - I went to Luxor but I would love to go to Cairo. Where r u going?

Totally - I'm so sorry to hear you are down, I think lonely is right maybe you should see your GP. I'm sure things will eventually calm down but you do sound so low at the moment. Don't have any advise re warrior but just wanted to lend my support and send a hug:grouphug: :grouphug:

Kelly - I'm sooooooooooo jealous!!
I am going to Egypt in October with my best friend and I can't wait!!!! I'm so excited. It has always been my dream to see the pyramids and Tutakhamun's death mask in the Egyptian Museum. My holiday was also booked pre lighbulb ( last may actually!) it's a 40th birthday present to ourselves (both turned 40 this year!!) no kids, no men, just me and my best friend of 26 years having a proper girlie holiday. Have a fantastic time, you deserve it after all your hard work lately, and don't forget I will need all the details when you get back.
