    Ah!

Amani and Vivck - about the queries from CCCS about those accounts.

I had exactly the same thing from Egg, and I reckon it's the same thing going on with Halifax.

I reckon it's something to do with the way CCCS pay out to the creditors - inasmuch as it's some sort of special transfer thing like CHAPS.

Now, I dunno what that is, but there was something I found on the EGG website which gave different payment details depending on what type of payment method you were making. Payment details which included an account and sort number very different to the ones I knew.

I wish I could find it for you, but I just don't know where it went. All I suggest is popping over to the Egg (or Halifax) site and have a browse at the 'help' sections and it should point you in the right direction.

I don't know if it was the right solution, but certainly the reply I got from CCCS was that this was okay!

    Good luck!

  • Evening all
What a grotty day so many have had my extra love and hugs to you all. I've had a bit of an up and down day too, HSBC called 4 times again - just ignored simply can't face the; "you owe us x amount we want it now ... take the managed loan .... blah ... bloody blah!"
Ilovegreat danes you have my most sincerest condolences. I lost my grandma at 92, 2 years ago (on my daughters 3rd birthday) and we still feel the loss now, she was (as I'm sure yours was) a great, lovely lady, but with time we are able to remember her with a smile (even her insistance that she needed her day cream and her night cream when she was in hospital .. beautiful till the end). It does make us realise how insignificant (in the greater scheme of things) our debts are!
Sea78 hope you are okay, can't send a smilie hug but heres a "virtual" one.
Totallyfedup know how you feel about coming on, thats why I enjoy our light hearted convos and nostalgia moments - it really lifts the spirits.
Winkus how cool would a DMP msc night out be, I wonder if we'd recognise each other, if it were ever to happen perhaps we should all wear a striped shirt in honour of mse Martin!!
Finally after what feels like a mamouth post welcome to Michelle73 you're in the right place for mutual support and a little light entertainment thrown in for good measure.
love and hugs to you all.

    Hi

Thanks for the concern guys - sorry I can't leave a big reply to everyone - not really feeling up to it tonight! :hello: to the newbies - welcome - this is a great place to be for support etc!

Had a massive awful row with OH this morning - when he said a LOT of really hurtful things about me and my behviour, weight etc. Been feeling quite down recently and really didn't need it. I suppose I started it all off (by being a mad fat psycho according to him) and should try to be more understanding and less snappy. I won't go into any more detail as I don't want to cry now in fron t of him (he's watching tv). How different two days can be, as yesterday I was feeling quite positive about our relationship.

kids had a lovely day - I took them to the park with sis in law, niece and nephew and they went on the little trampolines and playground etc. Just wonderful and free :) SIL paid for vv expensive ripoff lunch too :)

Been listing mroe on ebay, selling my 'old' clothes to raise a bit of money - goodbye little mini skirt - noone would want to see my legs now!!! :)

Anyway, ALSO got HSBC ringing me carrying on that they won't default/accept DMP/do anything til I've missed 6 payments(!!!!!!) on my loan. *sigh* At least the woman was nice to me.

Also found I have £6 more to go on DMP due to some utilities working out better due to DDs.

    Love ya all! :)

    Hi idabdwit -

    Sorry to hear about HSBC...

I'm yet to get a nasty phonecall from one of my creditors, but I'm fairly sure it won't be long before Barclays start calling!

In a way, I'm almost looking forward to it. The anticipation of the thing can sometimes be worse than the actuality of it.

I've worked in retail pretty much all my adult life, and I've dealt with angry customers demanding everything from. I think I'm fairly good at calming people down and not getting het up about things, so it'll be interesting (at the very least :D) to see how a conversation with them will go.

What I am determined to do though is head them off at the pass - as soon as they call, I want to be onto them, so they have no recall opportunities. I go in, explain the situation, give 'em my CCCS client and (nicely of course ;) ) tell them to p*** off!

Well, that's the strategy...Whether it works or not, I'll only know when (if?) it happens.

You'll all be first to know if it does!

EDIT: Sea! Thought we lost you for a minute there! Glad you're back and feeling a little better though - if I could, I'd send around some penny chews for you! Big hugs from me!
