    Hi everyone

Sorry to hear so many of us are having !!!!!! days, try to stay strong everyone it can only det better;)

VivCk - If I remember right I think Joek had almost the same problem, (might be wrong) first you need to contact CCCS as soon as poss, tell them that you will be unable to start DMP on date originally agreed and explain why, then set up a new bank account asap and get your wages paid in there, so your wages are yours and the bank can't get to them first.
I'm sure this might be quite common!!

    Hi Teecee.

You're quite right. I did have a minor panic when I realised that Barclays had decided to close the account early. Luckily, I had my savings account waiting in the wings to take in my next month's pay, so I actually didn't lose anything by it (apart from some hair). I think VivCk, you're in a slightly different position than me, because you seemed to have had more money there which you'd expected to be able to use, so I feel for you on that one.

In my predicament, I soon realised that if CCCS started my DMP on the original start date (March), then I'd have not been able to pay them, and everything would have gone slightly pear shaped. All I did was give them a call, and they were able to delay the start for the next month - which gave me time to get my pay into the savings account, and actually gave me time to have my new bank account set up.

I'd certainly give CCCS a call - if only because they do have a tendancy to not panic, and give you some good advice to boot.

I don't know if that helps at all, but I certainly can relate to your problem!

    Just keep hanging in there!

    EDIT: Welcome Michelle!

    Hi Teecee!

    I'm doing fine, my dear!

It's been a day of fine weather and doing nothing much at all (day off!), so it's been all good for me.

I wish others in the club had had a better day though, so whilst I'm not guilty about enjoying the day, I do give all my love and sympathies to those who've had (and I quote some awful teenage american here) 'the suck'.

    Hope you're doing well though:)

    Hi TC & Joe
Thanks for the replies. Don't actually have more money - just more on the overdraft!
Yes, will ring CCCS in the morning, just a bit concerned as my creditors will have been told my DMP is starting this month - in fact the first letter I opened tonight was an agreement from M&S to the reduced payments - that's how I knew it had started.
Seems daft that CCCS told my creditors before telling me! Oh well, it'll get sorted, no point in worrying about it.
And CCCS haven't included Egg as they say I gave them the wrong numbers. Given that I sent them the print out form the web site I don't know what's going on there - but pretty sure I've seen similar from others on here. Egg must be a bit weird - but they're my biggest creditors, maybe I'll ring them too...
Ah well, cards to make must get on!

Looks like you've got it covered. Well done!!

Don't worry too much about the creditors, CCCS will hopefully sort it out.
    Good Luck

our biggest creditor is the Halifax, CCCs also told me that they have not included our Halifax loan as we have send them the wrong sort code and account number. I sent them all the info when i sent the forms back so dont know why they said that. anyway emailed them, they said they have now resolved this now HOPE SO.

The great thing about this thread is that whilst the whole forum is fab, at least here we are all in very similar positions. It's been a remarkable piece of luck (possibly the wrong word, but you know what I mean!) that we're all debt at the same time.

Hmm... really the wrong word, but there we go!

Every day there's been at least one pearl of wisdom given by someone that I've been able to take on board!

And if nothing else, I've gained some friends who share a similar fondness for sweets and other exciting things!

On a more serious point - is Sea okay Teecee? :(
