CCCS told me to tell them my reference number to keep them away even before I rec'd ANY forms from them. As far as CCCS are concerned the first contact with them means you are taking those steps. If you did it online you should have a reference number straight away. I told GE that I was dealing with CCCS and here is my ref number. They said they will put account on hold for thirty days and see what they get from CCCS!!!
Hun, tell them the ref numbers and they will leave you alone so you can have a peaceful wedding ann and start being debt free .

Thanks. 30 days hold from their phone calls would be fantastic!!! :D Will definitely do that, thanks. Thought I could only give out the reference number after I had signed all the forms, as otherwise CCCS won't be able to speak to them anyway as they don't even have account details yet.

PS. Sorry, how impolite of me - Morning all! :D

Yeah but GE said if I have more than one account or they are ringing for "another reason" then that's why I must be getting 5 calls a day from them.

Yes (storecard and a mastercard) but the other account is up to date, not even due yet and only £15 balance. Have drafted a letter to close the account as soon as my payment clears as it doesn't seem worth this being in my DMP when compared to the size of the other debts.
