Ex, I understand where you are coming from but those charges were unlawful. Surely if you are paying your mortgage it cannot be touched.
My mortgage is with First direct as is a loan that is going to be included in the DMP. First direct assured me that the mortgage is safe. It cannot be touched as long as i am making mortgage payments. The loan is a separate debt. An overdraft would also be classed as separate.:j Proud to be No. 49 of the DMP Mutual Support Club:j

I have to confess that I've done so much ebaying over the past 4 years that I really have little left to sell. It's coming up to that time of year again were I loiter around car boots looking for stuff to resell on ebay. :rotfl:0

ex-spend - assume the position and I'll kick (psst...it'll be alright)
Ah...I don't think you need it - you seem to be doing pretty well!
That's where the problem is Joe. It has all went so well for me that the 10% pessimist in me has a niggling fear that somewhere around the corner it could go badly wrong. I have to stop thinking like that.0 -
I must confess to being a serial ebayer over the last 4 years. I have over 600 feedbacks but lately find it hard to get motivated??? I need a kick up the bum!!! This site seems to be taking up more of my time!!!!:j Proud to be No. 49 of the DMP Mutual Support Club:j

Thanks for that Winkus. I will do it, I know I will. I'm just taking baby steps at the minute. This week I'm sending the letter off about the dodgy endowment I had through Legal and General. Maybe next week will be claim the bank charges.
You say you got charges back from GE. Where they store cards?0 -
Forgot to say welcome to Charley
Belive me you will enjoy and be lead along the right path here. Now if you excuse me I must go as my partner(for some unknown reason) has brought home a Cockatoo. B***** thing has not shut up all night so I have just put my daughters Peter Rabbit quilt on the cage in the hope he will not stay awake all night and realise it is his bedtime and be nice and quite.
Must go
Goodnight see you tomorrow

I'm the same. I have became fascinated with other people's debts and their bank charges. I'm on that thread every night marvelling at how the Hellifax have ripped people off even more than me. At least I know it's not personal. :rotfl:0 -
Night Yellowmonkey. Lol at your partner and the cockatoo. :rotf:0
