Taped Interview Under Caution

He has spoken to his line manager at work and also his office manager both have said they will write letters explaining the difficulty he has at work and also how they have witnessed him struggling with pain and the collapsing from the syncope. I will try to get him an appointment with the gp in the morning and take it from there. We are going to contact a solicitor in the morning too, he is so upset and I am so angry that he is now in this state.0

Why doesn't your son call them and ask them why he's being invited to attend so he at least can prepare anything he feels he might need, if you're as genuine as you sound, it will be a short interview, Good luck"There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
I have spoken to the CAB along with several charities this morning and all have said to get a solicitor that is a specialist in this area. CAB reccomended someone and we have an appointment later today, in the mean time my son has tried calling the person who sent out the letter and all they will say is that they will discuss matters with him at his interview. We have not had much sleep but hopefuly the solicitor can help to put his mind at rest a little. Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and help.0

Has your son's work hours increased recently?0
-
No his hours are the same as they have always been, there have been no changes other than his health getting worse and being diagnosed with a new condition on top of the health problems he already had.0
-
Have you informed DLA about his change in condition?0
-
We did not let them know when he was diagnosed with the syncope as that was just recently done, he had been going through tests etc and then finally said thats what was causing the blackouts.0

We have been to solicitors and he is going to try to find out why they are asking my son to go to this interview, also been to gp he was shocked when we told him what had happened and he is 100% my son keeping his DLA, he is getting as much info together for us as he can from all specialists etc that he has seen and preparing letters for us, so I feel a bit better now even though I know he still has to go to the interview its nice to know he has the backing of his doctors, managers and a solicitors.0

Also ask his work for the copy of the adjustments they have done for him at work as it is additional evidence as to how he can work, also any risk assessments they would have done for him as there should be one of those specifically in place just for him as an individual as his conditions mean he does not fall under there generic risk assessments.
I wish him well and hope everything turns out for the best.well today was a complete waste of make up :eek:0 -
Has a date been set for the interview? Excuse me if you've already stated it.0
