So what we now have is a situation where they may cause the loss of the transport with a likely outcome that he will no longer be able to go to work. Thats just great! Apart from the personal impact of this change which will probably be devastating, we/the taxpayer/the country will have to pay even greater amounts of money to support someone who does currently work/wants to work/has a job. Well done DWP for a great "value for money" piece of work.

On a slightly different note, I recall that it is the Government's intention to go through all people in the country claiming any type of sickness or disability allowance and to interview them and try and get them off the particular benefit and back to work. Last I heard this was a fiasco and many people being classed as fit for work appealed and it was all reversed. But beware, this type of interviewing (perhaps not IUC) is going to go happen across the country to possibly 100s of thousands of people.

I hope you get your issues resolved quickly and that your DLA etc is reinstated and that the emotional damage to your son is not too great.
