  • Good Morning Everyone

It's lovely and sunny here. Going to go and get GG birthday present. he gave me a list last night lol !! All little bits and pieces.

Just sent DH shopping for everyday bits. He likes doing this cos he gets his papers then comes home and with luck can read them all morning!! Well todays it's his lucky day I'm off out. So he can read and nod off to his hearts content. He always says "give me a ring when you are on the way home and I will put the kettle on" What he means is ring me and I will wake up and look busy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Only a few pence in the pot but sure I will have some more soon.

Lots of (((Hugs))) for all poorly potters hope you soon feel better

  • Morning all,

Peeled a cardy off the floor in DD's bedroom and out fell a gleaming 10p. Arghhhhh, how on earth is this young lady ever going to learn to be tidy! On the bright side I potted the cash!! :j

Hope everyone is having a great day. jakes-mum, get better soon and LC2 enjoy your day out. At least your DH thinks of putting the kettle on. Mine would not even get the idea ;)!

My pot is not yet full and I am contemplating carrying it over for SCP #6. I will try and pry the coins out this weekend. It's a beautiful ceramic pot and I would have to smash it to get to the cash.

Enjoy your day, sun is shining and it is really mild in London.

    Hugs to all,

Hello all, a big welcome to all the newbies and best wishes to those expecting and working and moving...
Also sorry to hear you're poorly j-m hope it won't slow you down for long :)
As for me it's DD 21st today, the lovely lady in the cafe at work gave me another 2 x £2 in my change, and I've got the lurgy too which is a pain cos we're so busy at work I'd feel guilty curling up under my duvet like I want too!

Tragic? That's £27.50 more than you would have had if you didn't keep your pots. I'd say that's pretty good! Nothing in tragic when you have plus money :)

My OH donated 70p to my pot last night. And we had chippy instead of 'famous pizza place' as it was cheaper. good eh :D

    16 Days to go

Don't be disheartened 166million I can see you achieved debt free staus in March this year which is fantastic :T and your total of £27.50 is a great start to saving. Just begin again with your sealed pot for next year and give yourself a pat on the back. Hugs from me too :kisses3:

Just popped in to say 20p potted. Won't be long until the big day folks! So sorry you're still poorly jakes-mum and you too rosy. Get well soon x

  • Hello everyone hope you're all potting well :D...sorry for being missing for the past few months. A lots happened; we've had three different family members in hospital (at different times). One had surgery to remove a tumour (they're getting better now). It hasn't all been bad though...we finally got to move to a different house too :j...it's in a bit of a state still, after weeks of work - but it's getting there :j :D :j. Hopefully I'll have the majority of it done before Christmas.
I have been literally sticking in the odd penny we can afford into the jar. Yes I said jar, Mr. Tumble had a few life threatening accidents before we moved :rotfl: :rotfl: :D :rotfl: :rotfl:.

When is the big counting up day again?

Anyway, we now have Internet again after 5 weeks of non-ness  :rotfl:  ....I don't know how the better half coped without it :p. So we should be able to get on a bit more to see how everyone's doing ;).

Take care and happy potting everyone :D.
