Hello everyone
Sparky reporting back for duty! Budapest was great, plenty to do in the day but a biot of a let down for things to do in the night (unless you want to sit in bars all night or go see a peep show!) but we had a great time anyhow.
The icing on the cake was going to see Lionel Richie on Saturday night when we got home in the Liverpool Arena.
Congratulations to our newest Nan to be X
Welcome to our new members, enjoy saving and enjoy the banter, stay clear of LC2 & Jakes-Mum they'll lead you astray, honest they will!
The spreadsheet is ready for everyone's totals with only 17 days to go lets get as much cash into the pots as possible

Hi Everyone
Sounds similar to Warsaw !! We stayed in very posh hotel, Yes! they did let me in lol!! but their were a few old men with very young girls there and I'm sure they were not their wives!! Seem to be very acceptable there. DH could not understand why any sane man would have a holiday and take another woman why not a fishing rod!!!! They have free tours there too where you just join in and then tip whoever is giving the tour. We must have got Mr Grumpy he told us off for enjoying ourselves so we tipped him and ran after half an hour!!!
Anyway £4.30 in the pot and Mr LC has forgotten to give me my change. Does he really think he will get away with that???
Oh is he in trouble when he comes in.

Ha Ha! Alone in the house at last - now is my time! Ooh where to start? A rummage through wardrobes and coat pockets used to always come up trumps, then its the sofas followed by a quick scan of bedroom floors (not that you can ever see the floor in my daughter's room!) I'm pretty sure there is a bag of coppers in the shed too...
...I'll see what that reveals before I take more desperate measures i.e. consider doing the housework. Wish me luck...:)Sealed Pot Challenge 1845:T0 -
£3.16 in my pot today! What fun. Also found two books of 2nd class stamps in an old purse - they'll come in handy! (money to be added to tin once I have the cash equivalent). Also found £1.01 in daughters room just scattered around surfaces and £1.22 in son's room. Though it hurts me to do so I have left their cash stashed around their rooms so they have a good first result when they get their pots at Christmas. (It will never happen again!:rotfl:).
Happy hunting everyone! I can't wait to see your results when you open those pots / tins / jam jars at the end of the month. If I'm this excited for you all goodness knows how you are feeling. I think the kids will love being part of this community - much more fun for them than putting it in the bank, though I'll need to keep encouraging them to do that too.
TTFN & happy hunting! :TxxSealed Pot Challenge 1845:T0 -
Well done 50thfun that's the way!
Welcome back sparky, you seem to have been away for ages although I seem to remember you working all hours lately too. Glad you've got that spreadsheet ready
Well, I am happy to report that I have got all my Christmas presents sorted as of today, I've even got a new top to wear on Christmas dayThe turkey is on order so all I have left to do is stock up on food (which I am doing gradually week by week) so I'm probably the most organised I have been for years, and all thanks to the SPC challenge which has made me focus on things in plenty of time :T and not fritter away the pennies.
Congrats to all the lovely people on here expecting new events like babies (aaah :kisses3:) and new homes (yippee!) Keep up the good work everyone!

Hallo all,
Thank you so much for the good wishes. And congratulations to all new aunts, mums-to-be and homeowners :T. To those lucky enough to have gone on a holiday - you know who you are - welcome home :T. And jakes-mum, so sorry you are ill, but we all know that being arm-chair bound is not a deterrent for you. I bet the metal detector with a very long handle is firmly by your side!
I have a little spare money this month so I've added another £100 to the pot. Without this group I probably would not even be saving - thank you to all of you for keeping me on track and providing wonderful entertainment every day. Count me in for SPC #6.
