  • Found 10p road kill yesterday - what fun! The kids are really into it too though they have been told not to take any shrapnel found in friends houses. LOL! Found £7.50 in my coat pocket which I am sure was earmarked for something else (we just don't have that amount of cash to spare nowadays)! Anyway the sealed pot beastie within me laughed gleefully +put it straight in the pot! Think I'm turning maniacal (sp?) Appointment in Bath today so perhaps a little more opportunity to mass our millions later...
    ... It's nice to have a dream!

    Happy potting everyone xx

Welcome back Nu1isit? we've missed you. It sounds like you've had a really busy and stressful time so :grouphug: to you and all your family and here's hoping things get better now. Good luck with sorting out the house too, that first few months of chaos seems to last forever doesn't it until you're settled and fixed everything. It's lucky you're a hands-on, fixing-it sort of person!
jakes-mum your OH sounds lovely :) , get well soon
166million I agree with the others, debt-free and £27.50 in the bank is a cracking start :D
    Not long now!

Hello everyone hope you're all potting well :D...sorry for being missing for the past few months. A lots happened; we've had three different family members in hospital (at different times). One had surgery to remove a tumour (they're getting better now). It hasn't all been bad though...we finally got to move to a different house too :j...it's in a bit of a state still, after weeks of work - but it's getting there :j :D :j. Hopefully I'll have the majority of it done before Christmas.
I have been literally sticking in the odd penny we can afford into the jar. Yes I said jar, Mr. Tumble had a few life threatening accidents before we moved :rotfl: :rotfl: :D :rotfl: :rotfl:.

When is the big counting up day again?

Anyway, we now have Internet again after 5 weeks of non-ness  :rotfl:  ....I don't know how the better half coped without it :p. So we should be able to get on a bit more to see how everyone's doing ;).

Take care and happy potting everyone :D.

Welcome home, we've missed you. Glad to hear everyone is on the mend. Counting day is 29 November.

  • Hi Everyone

Glad to hear you feel better Jakes-Mum your DH was really kind!!

    Enjoy your trip Sparky.

Our GC have day off cos they use there school for polling so we are doing lots of craft things until DH comes in then we are off to the park.

    He is fishing!!!

His friend came round with £10 that he owed him so I have changed it into change cos he hates change so now he has a £5 note and lots of silver. He will give me the silver cos he always does :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It will give him a lovely warm feeling giving me the change so I am doing him a good turn really :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

nu1isit, your back  you seem to make a habit of disappearing near count up day :naughty: ahh families, arn't they fab, Dh's side seem to be dropping like flies  we've had 3 go into hospital in the last month or so!

Am still not feeling great but think it might be to do with the fact im having ANOTHER bout of 'lets just not sleep at night' syndrome.

On a happy note, DH came back from the shed with a shiny 50p he found in his tool box :D and I had a small but still as important 1p in my coat pocket to add to it. It would be more but as its children in need tomorrow DS needs a quid and DD needs any monetary donation I care to give 'though its not obligatory' (feel a bit mean sending her in with nothing though when I presume most of the other kids will have a donation)

Right off to make sausage and chips for me tea and curry and chips for them others wot live here ;)

  • Thanks Sparky, crimson.addict, rosyq, Susanne Cape, and you to LC for the welcome back :D.
It's all moving forward rosyq, which is the best direction for things to go most times :D :rotfl: :D. Five weeks to go  :D , I can get it done... *coughs*; I hope :p.
I bet you're reeeeaal sorry about Mr. Tumble too LC :rotfl:, I know you had a lot of love for him :rotfl:.
Eek , here, have one of these jakes-mum :grouphug:...hope you enjoyed the sausage and chips...
Potted a couple of pennies today, looking forward to the final count up, I won't have anything ground breaking for a final total; it has literally been the odd penny here and there, when we could afford it...but at least we kept going :D. Looking forward to seeing how well everyone's done ;).
Kids are asleep, no jobs to do tonight :j, I think it's cup 'o' tea time :D :rotfl: :D.

    Happy Potting everyone .
