Had a busy day at work which has meant quite a lot of small change being left lying around on the floors which has all made its way in to my work tin. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Morning..just thought i'd update as today i'm starting a new pot as the first one is full! :j
I'm really pleased, this is my first time and i've been really good at sticking to my self promise of putting something in every day...usually £2 coins but also 1's and any spares at the end of the day.
My teenage son has watched me excitedly adding every day......and he's now got a sealed pot too!
Thanks to all who update and help keep me on track......can't wait to have a count up on opening day!! :TSealed Pot Challenge member 439 :T

That's a great idea! I know someone with a metal detector who is 'potting' all the money he finds until it has paid for itself!
Well, we finally plucked up the courage to visit a mortgage advisor. We weren't surprised to hear that OH can't get a mortgage at the moment due to his credit record but were very surprised to find out that I can get one in my own right! We just need to double our deposit first... so we are going to save like mad, we're so desperate to move out and OH is finally on board and saving too!
35p in the pot this week. By the way, was it one of you lot that beat me to that 2p outside Mr Ts on Friday? I must be quicker next time!"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012Married 2015
