Put your flipping top back on, jakes-mum! Lets have some decorum on the thread. ooh I can imagine just how excited you all are, lovely to have something to look forward to. BTW, do kids, or anyone, really need passports to fly up to Scotland?
Now DH and I had this exact arguement last week when I found out I won :o, I said you dont need a passport to fly internally, he said you do, mums take on it is you dont need a passport but you do need some form of ID and they prefer passports, and after deliberating at length I wondered what else I could possibly have that is ID for the kids and has their picture on it  and as Mr Jake is off to secondary and all the trips are going to be abroad now anyway, plus I have been informed by middle sister that he has been promised a trip skiing in france if h behaves this year at school , and by Grandad that when he passes his open water diving he will be taken off to dive abraod  (spoilt much??) I might as well just buy him the passport :o. So if im doing his I might as well do hers at the same time ;)

We are very excited though :D Miss Lily has already started 'are we going tomorrow mummy? we go on the plane tomorrow dont we? well when are we going? how many sleeps is that? so next week then? are you sure its not tomorrow? I think its tomorrow . . ' :rotfl:

My teenage son has watched me excitedly adding every day......and he's now got a sealed pot too!

Well done- especially on getting your son involved. It'll be a really useful thing to learn.

Sold a DVD on FB for £4 so in the pot its gone and FYI I have absolutely no idea who Sparky is talking about but in their defence im sure they are a good and fabulous duo who's wonderfulness is being unfairly tarnished and no newbies should listen to him ;)

Hi maccymum and welcome to this fab thread! :) Most of us on here like to know all the nitty gritty of how you're saving! The banter helps us all stay sane and focussed. Good luck!

Just a bit of copper to pot today 'cos we took dear FiL out to lunch. It was awfully wet but he enjoyed himself (it just becomes more of an effort for him each time though :()

Have a lovely evening everyone x

PS I'm missing the Olympics too Sue...DH says thank you for the get well hug, it was lovely :)

Hiya sparky! Good to have you back and to know you've both really enjoyed yourselves. Are you back to OT again now? So, I guess you didn't seem much, if any, of the Olympics. Twas really fantastic and so much more than I'd honestly thought it would turn out like. We just miss it like mad. :(

    Morning Sue
We really enjoyed Krakow & I can highly recommend it, we had sun all the time we were there and temps in the high 90's. The OT during the week has dried up but they're still putting 12 hour sat/sun weekends on. YAY!

Hope you and the family are all well X
