Oh. Accidentally posted this in the August 2011 thread, when I did my original inventory - sorry about that. I'm reporting it here to give you guys a big thanks!
Hi all, I had a look at my original inventory and I'm happy to report these UU's
Perfume
Armani code (WIBA? No. Hated it)
Bvulgari Omina (x2) (WIBA? it's not made any more)
5 x tea tree and mint shower gels (WIBA? erm... if on offer then yes).
1 x posh soap (these posh soaps are default gifts from MIL, so WIBA question is not relevant here)
All my Veet wax strips (technially not a UU, as they all sort of melted and stopped working) (WIBA? erm... no, not now that I know I can't stash them until needed!)
Neutrogena face wash (grapefruit flavour) (WIBA? Nah... nice smell though)
1x Santuary body buffer (WIBA? erm... Nah. Smell is a little too sweet for me)
Clarins shower gel (WIBA? - No. Way too expensive)
Clarins beauty flash balm (WIBA? No, nothing wrong with it, but way too expensive for what it is)
Clarins Matt moisturiser (WIBA? ditto)
Thankyou to you all for being such an inspiration0 -
just when I thought the worst of the weekend was over i discovered that the felt tip I used to mark my seed pots was not waterproof:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:would not be so bad but some were "special" tomatoes(i.e only a few seeds per packet) that I wanted to sell at the church coffee morning and now will not be able to tell which variety they were:(maybe I should advertise them as "pot luck " tomatoes?
just heaved 200 litres of bark chip onto borders:Aso need a cuppa and sit down, humax recorder playing up and last nights progs did not tape:(Humax say try retuning:mad::mad::mad::mad:no that is not the solution, think it is the hard drive and as it has never worked properly since we bought it as a joint Christmas pressie I think they need to change it!
just had an email off DH about a hotel offer, not sure if he is propositioning me as been very un/dis? interested all weekend hence usual rows:(:(:(:(:(0 -

:rotfl: I've had to take to doing the same as with toiletries and tell myself i have enough at home and i absolutely do not need any more tea!
I'm glad that it isn't just me!:rotfl::)
Rosemary - you are due some good luck soonMaybe you will be able to identify the tomatoes once they've grown a bit more? Our Humax box has been brilliant - super easy to use and very reliable, so it does sound like something is wrong with yours. I'd return it...

ooh was this a good offer Dollipop?Resisted the smorgasbord of lovely Avon shower gels with a supreme effort of will. Was buoyed up in my resolve by having walked through the Debo's beauty hall in the Trafford centre on Saturday with barely a backward glance. Although I did stop to spray a Guerlain perfume called Jicky, which is apparently one of their oldest. Well, this bottle might have been sitting there since 1924 because, and I am not making this up, it smelled a bit like poo. I checked with my sister and she agreed. So don't think I'll be having trouble resisting this one!
BTW skintscotslass, I was intrigued by the brightening hand cream. I'd quite like self-illuminating hands, would save a fortune on leccy, so do let us know if it works!!
I'm glad I wasn't drinking my coffee when I read this as I would have sprayed the screen. You are soo funny :rotfl: Not so sure I want to go and smell this one now though!skintscotslass wrote: »:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Well, I've still got the lights on, so its not that good!! My hands are definately brighter though...its like the foundation with the light particles in them. Dont know if thats such a good look when you have wrinkly hands and dont want to draw attention to them
I think the Avon product may be Anew. I bought it when it first came out, when I was only about 28! I cant comment on it as it was stolen when I was selling my house! I've sold 4 properties and its the only thing I've ever had stolen. Bizarre
Does this cream contain White Mulberry as this is a really good ingredient for brightening the skin?

What is the Green people eye gel I am intrigued.
Also a UU dead sea spa handcream not sure if I'd buy it again as fairly expensive but did a good job and nice smell.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

Thank you so much for coming on to the current thread and fessing up! Whilst waiting for the bus home tonight I pulled out my phone and cleared out most of my Inbox because it's stopped storing new messages. I then saw that the current date had changed to 07 January 1980. I then opened up the thread you posted to and thought my phone was totally ******! Now that you've mentioned this I realise (rationally) that my phone probably reverted to it's original date because I took the battery out yesterday. Basically the camera wouldn't work as it was saying the SD card was not available. I took the whole phone apart before realising that it wouldn't work as I had it connected to the PC. I just shouldn't be let anywhere near technology. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Just goes to show it is a very small world! As it was we didn't make it Reddish after all over the weekend but will be in Manchester on Saturday for a friend's birthday at a swanky restaurant. Looking forward to that!Emsjune - how is your skin today? I hope that it has calmed down a bit. When my skin went through a really reactive phase I just used almond oil on it (from Holland & Barrett). It worked as a make up remover (although I still used a separate eye make up remover) and a moisturiser. I have pale skin that reddens easily and I can get an oily t-zone (the almond oil didn't make any oiliness worse). Later on I used rosehip oil as my moisturiser and that was wonderful. Now if my skin gets grumpy I just switch to the most gentle, chemical free products that I have. I was amazed by the difference that a gentle cleanser made. When my skin is sore then it doesn't even like water on it so I use a cream cleanser until it has calmed down.
Sorry for the delayed reply, have been away for most of the weekend, cue several pages of catching up! My skin is much better now thank you for asking - I hit upon the idea of trying some No. 7 P & P Intense serum I had which had a very positive effect on improving the condition of my skin. Was a small sample sized tube which still has some left and I'm so please with the results I think I'd definitely BA as would be interested to see what the long term results were and that's coming from someone who's never really bought into the whole idea of a serum as well as a moisturiser etc.
Never really got to do all the shopping I thought I would over the weekend with one thing and another, in fact the only time I was really around the shops and would have had chance was Easter Sunday when most places were shut so I've been saved for myself! That said, I've some leave to use up from work and have several four day weeks ahead of me when OH can't take leave at the moment as he's training in a new job so I'll definitely make a beeline for Chester at some point soon and there'll be INs galore no doubt!!
One UU this morning - Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo - the type of UU you're sorry to see go as you like the product so much, probably a HG for me - WBA soon - only a tiny stash of shampoo left for me now, pretty good going as I used to be terrible for having numerous part used bottles lying around the bathroom...
One small IN - Sure roll on, bizarrely in my Easter gifts from Mum (I don't think it was a hint or anything!! :rotfl:) Sure is my deo HG so don't mind adding this to the significant stash too much as will eventually get around to it. Also had several Dior lipglosses but I conveniently don't count cosmetics in my stash as that's yet another story0
