    2 UUs:
Skin79 super+ BB mini WNBA bad colour/texture for me
Decleor Peel mini size WNBA didn't do that much for the price

I had planned to go for a consultation with my Mum's hairdresser while I was visiting but I just can't bring myself to do it. The way some people are about dentists is how I am with my hair. I badly need to get it done before I start my new job, it looks perfectly nice as it is but it's long and beachy and just doesn't look professional at all.

    UU

RENU Radiant Skin Peel, 5ml - WNBA, is this just the same brand as MONU? Smells the same and looks the same! Lovely on the skin though, im not sure it really did anything!
Loccitane Divine Cream, 3ml - WBA, not going to lie, this was fantastic and im gutted it is finished! Just as good as the Sisleya :)
Green People Eye Gel, 10ml - WBA, so cheap and so good. Has really helped my tired dark circles under my eyes :) I know most of you ladies don't believe eye gels and creams work, this is the exception :)

Thanks for the recommendations on the nose strips. I will get some next time I am out and about.

Another UU for me, this time my HG dry shampoo. I have one left in the stash so will repurchase when I next see it at a good price.

  • Today's UU:

Clean skin edp - I loved how this smelled. It was a tester so I'm not sure if it ever came out on the market or not. I would hope so.

I hear good reports of Clean Skin perfume. Just as well for us that it doesn't seem to be easily available!

I might have one cheek on the naughty step because I was only a bit naughty. My mum had an Avon brochure through the door and said she'd get me something from it (lovely mum) so I picked a resurfacing serum called renewal or something. I'm a bit sceptical about most miracle skin treatments but I think AHA stuff, which this seems to be a variant on, is worth using. I know that some of you ladies are involved with Avon, did I make a good choice?

Resisted the smorgasbord of lovely Avon shower gels with a supreme effort of will. Was buoyed up in my resolve by having walked through the Debo's beauty hall in the Trafford centre on Saturday with barely a backward glance. Although I did stop to spray a Guerlain perfume called Jicky, which is apparently one of their oldest. Well, this bottle might have been sitting there since 1924 because, and I am not making this up, it smelled a bit like poo. I checked with my sister and she agreed. So don't think I'll be having trouble resisting this one!

BTW skintscotslass, I was intrigued by the brightening hand cream. I'd quite like self-illuminating hands, would save a fortune on leccy, so do let us know if it works!!
  • One OUT and two INs for me this weekend:

OUT - Lush Vanishing Cream moisturiser. WBA as it was nicely moisturising, rich but not too heavy and smelt pretty good.

INs - MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo and MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry. I've been after a proper red lipstick for ages and have finally taken the plunge with these two, as part of updating/changing my look and trying to appear a bit more mature and at least semi-glamorous. It was a bit of a shock to the system at first but after a day walking round Westfield with it on I actually kind of liked it, so I will get the use out of it.
