No buying unnecessary toiletries in April - Challenge

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you haven't eaten all your chocolate eggs already ladies??? I love the fact my mum still buys me and my brother an egg despite us both being in our 30's
Annoyingly I don't think I have had any UU this week. I confidently predict that my Johnsons Holiday Skin lotion, S&G handwash and an Avon face powder will bite the dust this week.
And I really want to finish my BS body butter (pomegranate I think) because I have decided as a spring treat to move onto my L'Occitane cherry blossom shower gel and lotion and BS body butter next. I think I have an Avon cherry blossom shampoo too, I could smell like a florist!
Two ins to report: an Avon pressed face powder as the 3 I have on the go at the moment are all nearly finished, I've no idea why I have 3 in use at once but I am getting through them.
Also got an SPF lipbalm from HB to wear in the summer. I was quite impressed that I went to HB and only bought this and a new muslin cloth in the toiletries line. My mum had never been in before so she just kept wandering around saying "this is much cheaper than in T**cos", I'll make a :money:out of her yet!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

Well shaped and really did the biz. They got everything out on one 'side' first go and there were only a couple of strays on the other side that were removed a few days later. The strays were probably my fault for not sticking it down fully, rather than the strip not being efficient.
This was some months ago; I was looking today to see if a re-use was needed but no, not at all.Being dim maybe but whats HB?

L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream - WBA and probably soon! Was only a 1ml sachet so only got one use out of it but was very impressed and a little mystified! Comes out as a greyish white paste with little beads in it but when you put it on it it reacts to your skin tone in some very clever way. It then has the coverage of a tinted moisturiser but here's the great bit, its not at all wet or oily and you don't need powder to set it/reduce shine if you want to use it on its own rather than a base. Think I'll definitely buy some of this at some point - infinitely better for me than the Garnier version.
I think you've just clarified a mystery for me! I'm fairly certain that this is an item that I was sent to trial. Unfortunately for me, it didn't suit my skin very well (made my skin oily and the colour didn't work well either). I only used it a couple of times for the trial, but now have the rest of the tube left to be used up at some point0 -
Another UU (well, TA): Maybelline Falsies Mascara.
WIBA? No, it's pants! I bought it on a 3 for 2 at Boots ages ago as I needed a new mascara and I'd heard people raving about Maybelline mascaras. It doesn't make my lashes look long at all, and is a nightmare to get off, even with eye make-up remover.
I'm not off to Hypnose mascara that a friend gave me. Let's see how this one does! Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???

I tried that L'Oreal BB cream, it actually worked - although it looked too dark at first, after a while i looked at my hand to see it had changed to exactly my skin colour!0

InAPickle I really rate the Maybelline One by One mascara, but not tried any of their other ones. I'm using EL Sumptuous at the moment, and it's lovely. I'm glad i didn't move onto another from the stash first, as this was already slightly dry when I started!
ZoeL and Fiasco I do find the nose pore strips work on blackheads as And said. I've not tried the Aldi ones, but the SD didn't do much for me. The MrBs Tea Tree and Witchazel are pretty good. The Biore are the most effective, but not paying £8 per pack, or whatever it is that they cost nowadays!
A couple of you extremely kindly PM'd me about Clarisonic on BuyaPowa, I just wanted to say thank you again. And you ladies are all so lovely, so huge *hugs* for being wonderful people!

My daughter tells me that the toiletries usually fly off the shelves at the Aldi she works at ZoeL . The name of the nose strips is Purederm - you can get them elsewhere too, apparently.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

Just caught up with all the posts as I was away for a week at a wedding. It was lovely but unfortunately my mum's aunt who was ill in hospital passed away a couple of days before the wedding.
Haven't had any UU but my face wash is feeling light and dove soap should be finished soon. I took a bar of dove with me but left it there so 1 out.
I've almost finished S&G hand food but really don't like it. The smell is overwhelming, I can smell it when I eat even when I've washed my hands. I have a BS almond hand cream in the stash which is lovely, should I just throw away the remaining S&G, or leave it by the sink and hope somebody uses it despite the bright pink packaging?
hope you're all well:)Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
