i have the following UUs to report for April

Homemade showergel concoction - this was just a mixup of all random shower gels. Did the job
BS Almond Oil conditioning Hand Wash!- Used it as a hand soap in the kitchen. It was nothing great. WNBA. Replaced with another TBS showergel now
Lush Handy Gurugu –10 ml size - Smelt horrible. WNBA
Lush Big Shampoo - It was good initially but had to throw away as it just looked like soap and water now. It had stopped doing its job. WNBA
Sainsburys basics shampoo- Had bought it on a friend's recommendation but totally hated it. It was a TA. WNBA

Off to the May thread now

Oh guys, just after my last post (Friday 11.40) I had a phone call from DD's school. Fallen and hurt herself ambulance on it's way. We have spent the whole time since then at Bristol children's hospital (fantastic place) and she had an op on her very badly broken arm done yesterday. She's home and safe now after a hideous time with masses of morphine. Feel sick every time I think of her arm. I'm so proud of her, she was so very, very brave.
Needless to say, my birthday didn't happen. Never mind, I get to be 33 for another year :D

Oh honey! I felt sick just reading it. What a nightmare. I hope she's on the mend now.

And I also hope that you get some belated birthday treats - and lots of calming cups of tea! :)

    UUs/OUTs/GAs: 11

Boo to me! :rotfl: Here's to a better month in May :D

    Last OUTs for April:

    Used up
    Sainsbury's Lemon Sorbet Shower Creme
WNBA as although it lathered up well and wasn't too drying it suffered from the problem a lot of lemon products have, which is smelling a bit too much like cheap bathroom cleaner :( Shame really as lemon is one of my favourite scents. Or maybe I'm just ruined forever after Body Shop Sweet Lemon...
    Thrown away
Boots Soltan Kids Extra Water Resistant Hypoallergenic Suncare Lotion SPF 30 200ml
Boots Soltan Face Moisturising Suncare Cream SPF 30 50ml
WBA as they absorbed well, weren't too greasy and protected me well against the sun.

the OPI nail envy is on my list of possibles for a base coat but i find my nails are just chipping horrifically and its got worse since i used that as a base coat and not just to strengthen them on its own :(

I see that on your list you don't have a HG nail file. Go and invest in a Leighton Denny crystal nail file. Since using this (for past 3 years) my nails have been really strong. It kind of feels like it's grinding the nail down as loads of dust comes off them but somehow it seals the edges. Magic x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've been eyeing them up for ages but the price has just put me off. i got a little crystal one for £2.50 from LIB and i like that so far. if it seems to work i'll think about the LD one again. x

I'm going to join in for another month. Just now I need:

    mascara
    Scalp treatment
    deodourant
    Possibly an eye shadow
    Possibly a new blusher

I'm at the stage of spluttering on a few more products, and for my second month month I'll be happy if more goes out than comes in!
