OK, now I've caught up with the thread I'll declare my UUs and INs for the month.

Had a further UU this am and a throw away.

UU; Dainty Doll eyeshadow base. I have been scraping around the rim of the pot with my concealer brush. This am hardly anything got onto the brush. Have a Benefit Lemon Aid in stash.

Throw Away: Clinique mascara - named something Lengths - the one with the curved brush. Am sick of wearing this under my eyes during the day so it's going.

11 UUs in total. 2 TAs. 3 items sold on Ebay. 11 INS though technically not counting all of them as this includes two TSVs. One was the Ultrasun kit containing 5 products only 1 of which will be for my sole use and the other was a L'Occitane kit of three shower gels and I will only be keeping one of these for myself unless I need to buy a gift for someone before it gets used by me.

Not a brilliant month because QVC have been receiving a fair bit of my money but then I've not really spent that much over the last few months. May is not gonna be so great though as there's a Le, OPI and Yankee Candle TSV in that month.

    See you all in May.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've had a postcard from QVC today about the TSV. Doesn't give anything away other than there will be "5 full size favourites and two handy travel sized treats".

Love HG lists. Gives me inspiration for the products that I haven't found my HG in yet. Here's mine:-

    Cleanser - Elemis Balancing Cleanser
Toner - Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic
Day cream: Elemis Pro Collagent Marine Cream
Night cream - Liz Earle Skin Repair Normal/Combination
Facial Oil - Decleor Neroli oil - though I tend to use this in Winter when my skin's a little drier.
Face Serum - Gatineau Melatogenine Force Collagen. Mind you haven't bought this for a long time as it's so expensive and only lasts a month. Still haven't found other to compare it to though.
    Make Up Remover - L'Oreal
Eye Cream (Day) - Don't bother - the PCMC works on my eyes
    Eye Cream (Night) - (vacant)
Body Wash - any Philosophy or Bath and Body Works one. Only Philosophy available over here though.
Face Mask - Decleor Herbal Clay Mask
Bubble Bath - any Philosophy shower gel I have open
Body Scrub - Soap and Glory Sugar Crush
Body Lotion - Don't have a particular HG. There are many that I like which include Liz Earle, The Body Shop and Boots Extracts.
    Eye Lotion - don't use
Perfume - Issye Miyake Assent, Philosophy Amazing Grace, Marc Jacobs Daisy
    Multi-purpose balm - Don't use one
Eyelash Serum - Don't use one
Spot Remover - Don't use one
Foundation - Laura Geller Balance N Brighten in Fair
    Tinted Moisturiser - (vacant)
Powder - Don't use as my foundation is powder based
    Concealer - Benefit Erase Paste in 02;
Primer (Face) - Laura Geller Spackle
Primer (Eye) - Benefit Lemon Aid
Eyeshadow - Don't wear enough of it to have one that is HG
Eyeliner - Smashbox putty type liners that come in a palette
    Mascara - Clinique Lash Power
Blush - Laura Geller - anyone of them. They are all lovely.
    Brows - (vacant)
    Lip Stick - (vacant)
    Lip Gloss - Smashbox
Lip Balm - Burts Bees Lip Shimmers
    Blotting Sheets - Don't use
Brushes & Tools - Am a bit of a heathen because I don't mind what brand I use. My favourite that I have though is my Boots No.7 kabuki brush
    Shampoo - (vacant)
    Conditioner - (vacant)
    Hair Mask - Aussie
    Hair Oil - Don't use
    Hairspray - Don't use
Shine Spray - Hair Rules Blow Out Your Kinks styling cream though I can't get this in the UK (boo)
    Nail Polish - OPI.
Nail Polish Remover - Cutex - the blue bottle
Base Coat - OPI nail envy
Top Coat - Essie to Dry For
    Hand Creme - L'Occitane Lavender
Nail File - Leighton Denny crystal nail file

the OPI nail envy is on my list of possibles for a base coat but i find my nails are just chipping horrifically and its got worse since i used that as a base coat and not just to strengthen them on its own :(

Managed one final UU for April, a Neals Yard orange and geranium body wash. Now moving on to the Soap and Glory one from the Christmas offer. That will be my last body wash in the stash!

Hi all!! Just nipping in before the end of April to say:

I HAVEN'T BOUGHT ANY TOILETRIES THIS MONTH!!!! :j:j:j

Seeing as I've been lingering on this challenge for over a year, and this is my first month of no actual buying anything, I am very proud!!

    I even have some April UU to announce;
Maybelline Matte Mousse foundation, Ivory - WBA but in a different shade - I now use cameo, Ivory is definitely too light. This was the dregs and had to be thrown away.
Nair hair removal cream - Thrown out - Had been sat in the cupboard for too long so I'd be reluctant to use it as it may have gone off or whatever creams like this do - plus I haven't used any other method than my epilator for over a year and am quite happy with it.
Trial foundation - not sure what it was but not the right tone and not very impressed, so thrown out.
Random hand cream - had been in an unmarked bottle for ages, and smelt a bit horrid so thrown away
Dr Pierre Ricaud eye cream - don't even want to guess how old this is,it smelt a bit wrong so also has been thrown away
Avon senses Moonlight shower gel - WBA - I like most of these shower gels, although I prefer others like Mystique - would buy this if it was the cheapest on offer.
John Frieda Volume Conditioner - WBA - One of my go to hair ranges.
Make Up Store Ice Cream moisturiser - WBA - quite liked this, it was only a sample and I don't know what it is full price - I think it might be too expensive to justify as it smelt nice but not sure it's more effective than anything else
    And a last minute throw away just now;
Soap and Glory Flake Away body scrub - WNBA - this has been lingering for years. I think it's a good body scrub but it leaves a residue on the skin, and also in the bath. Boyfriend just got in the shower and thoroughly told me off as he said it was like standing in oil. I kind of agree, and only used it yesterday in an attempt to use it up. There's about 1 or 2 uses left so I've thrown it out, it's not worth using it when it's a bit yucky and oily.

So 9 outs for me and no ins :D:A

I will have a lot more outs for May - I had a proper clear out at the weekend, and have a big box of stuff that I'm either going to try to ebay or shall be going to charity, so I'll list those as outs as and when they physically leave my house!:rotfl:

Hope you all had a good month - I'm off to enrol on May's challenge, and hopefully will be around a bit more this month - I've been AWOL for a while now!!

    UU

Fructis Colour Shield Shampoo. One of my favs. Have another in the stash but want to use up some halves left in the shower.

Olay moisture ribbons in mandarin scent. No real scent and not that great. But I found a huge one in the stash. oops.

Three splutering and my GlossyBox arrived but I'll open it tomorrow.
