I think I'm going to have to go cold turkey next month, I've just been re organising my plastic chest of drawers and the amount of stuff I've got is stupid.

I've listed my Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland palette on EBay because its just not getting used although I love to take it out and look at it. I'm going to start a "Mulberry fund" I think, every time I sell something it can go in the pot and I'll treat myself to a fancy bag at Christmas. Maybe for every month I don't buy any products I could put £100.00 in the fund.

Sneaking in a few UU's, I knew it would be a quiet month, and so will May, as I am pretty much using full sizes now.

46 Lush Green shampoo bar. Probably WNBA, establishing my HG's now.

47 Lush Dreamwash 250g. WBA (if it is still made) if excema comes back.

48 ESPA Nourishing Cleansing Balm 13g. Really nice, but I think I prefer LE and Elemis Pro-radiance cleansers. Also is rather expensive.

IN's Avoplex to go and a Ciate nail buffer, some nail polishes, but I do not include them in the challenge.

well i realised yesterday that if i could only use the Liz Earle Cleanser Toner and Moisturiser with the Superskin oil bought when they do the buy all 3 and get something free offers for the rest of my life then my skin would be much happier. the clearest its been was when i first got the LE and used all 3 morning and night, and didn't bother changing and chopping "just in case" because what i was using was working. i was on Slimming World as well and all the healthy eating helped too and no matter how hard l'oreal try, they aren't going to be able to bottle that.

i dread to think how much i could have got of stuff i really like if i hadn't fallen for the whole Glossybox and Joliebox stuff too. the past 2 glossy boxes I've looked at and haven't even wanted any of it, id have "made do" if i got them but i don't want to waste money on making do.

have fun! i saw Steps in concert the other night, it was brilliant. even my dad was doing the dance routines!:rotfl:

Where do you buy your LE, direct or from a store?

the website (http://uk.lizearle.com/). they have a new offer on every month for buy the cleanser, toner and moisturiser and you get a different product every month free. think its a free eyebright this month. they don't offer this in the john lewis shops, don't know if they do in their stores as i don't live close enough to one to use them. the £3 P&P is also kind of offset because they always give you a travel size product with every order too thats usually worth more than the £3.

they sometimes have other special offers on too, i got a set last year with an exfoliator, spot on and 2 of the face masks in for £30 i think. also got a "bridal" box they did that was a brill set too.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

I've been sticking my fingers in my ears and going "La La La La" to any and all mention of boxes - Glossy or otherwise. :D:eek:

That YouTube girl with the make up stash was a bit frightening. I must look like that to some people.

I've got a couple of UUs to report.

UU Melatogenine Refreshing Cleansing Cream 250ml.WIBA? This is great as a mask for congested and lumpy bumpy skin but it is horrifically drying. My skin is stripped and flakey afterwards. So...dunno. :o

UU Maybelline The Smoother Skin Retexturising Primer 7ml. WIBA? Meh. If anything I started to like this a little as I was forcing myself to finish it up but not enough to buy it again. It's expensive for only 7mls too.

I also have an IN An Avon Lip Conditioner which I hoped would be a good replacement for my Gale Hayman Lip Lift - but it isn't really. The Lip Lift has a fine texture which make it easy to use under make up whereas the Avon Lip Conditioner is almost as thick and waxy as any bog standard lip balm.

I've had a good sort out and I've got plenty of splutterers on the way out.

Mostly - I'm just not having any ins.

A girl needs lip balm though...At my age I can't afford to let my lips shrivel up. (They might never unshrivel!)

Have a great week ladies! :j

Oh guys, just after my last post (Friday 11.40) I had a phone call from DD's school. Fallen and hurt herself ambulance on it's way. We have spent the whole time since then at Bristol children's hospital (fantastic place) and she had an op on her very badly broken arm done yesterday. She's home and safe now after a hideous time with masses of morphine. Feel sick every time I think of her arm. I'm so proud of her, she was so very, very brave.
Needless to say, my birthday didn't happen. Never mind, I get to be 33 for another year :D

Oh Kaz, I am sorry, that's the second thread that's had bad news. Poor love and poor you. Hope you are able to enjoy some sort of celebration sometime soon. Meantime, swift healing to a brave girl.

Hugs to you, Kaz, and to your poor daughter. It sounds like she was very brave. I hope that she heals well (and quickly) and that you are able to celebrate your birthday properly, even if it is a little late. :)

I'm sorry that I've been missing here - I completely crashed and am still quite wobbly. I'm looking forward to catching up with the thread properly. I also need to tot up my April ins and outs before it's too late...:D

Hi Valm. I had an Elemis facial at JL last week, when the therapist was confirming my next appointment for Sun 20th May she said that would be a good day as there was a GWP. I believe it's buy two products and get to choose four travel sizes/minis. I don't know when the offer starts/ends only that it's available on that Sunday, nor which travel sizes you may choose from.

Ooh thanks for this. There was one of these around about September I think. We had gone to John Lewis to buy MrM some Elemis Senstive Shave Gel. I bought 2 of them to take advantage of this. I remember the small tubes then included PCMC, the foot cream, serum, mask and neck and bust I think (only because I have these tubes left in my stash or I'm already using them - ie they didn't come from anywhere else). I may bob along to get him some more shave gel as I know he's gone through one of those already and get some Tan Accelerator for me. Thanks for the heads up. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
