EXPIRED thorntons continental eggs...glitch

Mine were due to be delivered between Wednesday & Friday, tracking says delivered so I just spoke to neighbour and there are 2 big boxes from thorntons there for me.
I can't believe a glitch has paid off for me.

I ordered two of the £25 hampers and only had the thank you confirmation text soon after on the Friday. I ve just checked my bank details and the money has been taken out £11 s odd. How can i track my order ive heard people mentioning Hermes for delivery but cant work out what to do. Not thinking straight at the moment:o Thanks

Had my confirmation text and the money has come out of my account but no further e-mails or phone calls about my order being cancelled. Not too hopeful!

**UPDATE** Received a dispatch invoice this morning with tracking number. As yet its stating the tracking number isnt being recognised, but keeping everything crossed!

you can only check with hermes if you have had a dispatch email as this has the tracking number in it.
I've opened my hampers, most of the chocoates have expiry end of this month, if I'd paid £90 for them I would have been disappointed but for £12 I'm very happy with them.

Surely the fact that the money has come out of your account must give you some hope, it does me lol. When i bought one of the 1p Easter eggs a couple of weeks ago a guy in a car delivered it from somewhere so dont know if this will be the case this time . Time will tell :EasterBun

I also had confirmation email and text on Friday, paid for next day delivery but nothing came Saturday. Money came out of my account on Friday. Have just had telephone call from them saying order has been cancelled due to error on their mobile website and asking for card details so they can refund me. Oh well, some you win ................on to the next glitch

Yes indeed onwards and upwards, if we re meant to get them we will.:) My family will benefit more than me . Its strange how some have had and some havent not that i begrudge those who did get lucky. There seems to be no set criteria eg when people ordered, what delivery charge they paid, nor what value they were.
