have just received my huge box of 2 hampers but no invoice in it. Called the bank but they cannot see any pending transaction for the company will have to wait till Monday. In the meantime have to hide the boxes or DH will skin me if I was charged full price for them, in which case I will have to arrange a return

I have just rung them. Spoke to someone and said that I had normally received an email dispatch notification but I was still waiting for one and I was due to go out. They put me on hold for 5 minutes and when she came back, told me that there had been a glitch on the whole of the mobile site yesterday and that all orders would be cancelled. There had been so many of them that they were having trouble working their way through things.. She said I could either pay the difference and receive my order or she would cancel it.
I was told that people had been ordering £500 worth of champagne for silly prices. I said that I had only ordered easter eggs and the website did say Easter weekend and I presumed that was what the offer was. She said she would send me out a box of chocolates for my trouble.
Well done to anyone that has received theirs but if you haven't heard anything yet, it doesn't look hopeful.0 -
i called this morning to find out if they was coming acted like i didnt know what was going on they said there was a system error and would have to issue refunds, the young lady said so many orders had crashed there system so some were honored before they relised she wasnt happy she was working as it was her day off but apprently "someone has to issue all these refunds" so well done those who got and those who didnt (me included) better luck next time0

Also phoned for clarification. It appears early orders slipped through, but those placed after the glitch was noticed but before it was fixed (about 1 hour) are being cancelled. I understand this applies to all orders which didn't qualify for the deal, be it 2 eggs or 2 hampers.0

My bank couldn't see a pending transaction either. Had ordered flowers so have had to open as otherwise they'll die by Monday. The bank said they couldn't take more than you had been originally charged. The OP said she had been told something along the same lines too0 -
Well, I got OH to call them and my order is cancelled. Apparently they immediately asked if it was one of the glitch orders from yesterday and said that they were not able to honour them. There was no offer of a box of chocs, and OH refused to say anything about the inconvenience of waiting in for a delivery ( he said I've wasted too much emotional energy on this already!). However, they did say something about issuing a refund, whereas I was under the impression that no money had been taken. You win some, you lose some. Thanks to OP for posting anyway, you've got to be in it to win it! Xx0
