Hi guys, how clean does your c.r.b. check have to be, mine came back from a previous employer and said 30 years ago I was a bad boy and nicked a car stereo and had to go to court, had a small fine job done...baring in mind it was 30 years ago, will this hinder my chances as I have my interview tomorrow
    cheers

Manpower don't do a CRB check they do a Basic Disclosure Scotland check and spent convictions do not show up.

  • Body shop 3, just got my STC. You can get the hours in FA2 in major rec.

If you're a snagger maybe but the majority of us never get asked or offered that

Cheers for that. I told them anyway and they said it was probably spent by now, just done a search and it was spent a long time ago so should be ok
Interview went very well it was quite relaxed and easy, not like I thought at all... there are only interviews today and tomorrow then no more as they have all the people they need so they tell me..
O and I passed the drugs test, was in and out in just under 2 hours, now its the wait for 5 days to find out....

Hi guys. Has someone recently started at Wolverhampton? ???
I had mail on 27.02.2015 then passed and need to be patient but no answer till now.
    thanks
  • I chased up a response as I've waited since my interview on the 10th March for an answer.

The reply simply said they are awaiting start dates and will come back when they can.

Shame I'll be employed elsewhere by this point!
  • I completed the online test for the JLR engine plant back in January. Had a manual assessment on the 12th March, finally got a interview on the 1st April and yesterday I got a call telling me I start in 10 days time.

    Hmm.

I did online assessments 17 Feb, called 18 Feb to book me in for manual on the 24 Feb, called 02 March to attend interview on 09 March.

Guess it's just waiting now then.
  • The JLR Careers website does say the production operative position is closed but they are still recruiting for the engine plant.

Anyone else applied for the emc?

Ah right, I opted for Solihull plant and I wasn't able to start for 7 weeks...
