    Hello there again :)

    I have applied for other jobs too since I need any ( im new in Birmingham, Solihull) and I've received a call yesterday from 'Staffline' asking me if Im still intrested in the position as Forklift Driver at JLR ( I think they are conected with DHL not sure tho) obviously I said yes but I need to refresh my licence and then I can attend to an interview. My question is does any of you know more about this ''staffline'' where they work and maybe what are the wages?

    cheers.
    Bearing in mind that wid DHL your most likely made permanent after 6 months whereas manpower its 5 years. It all depends on yourself many people from manpower want to leave because it's not for them many people love it. In regards to wages i think its 100£ difference on permanent wage.

    I thought there was plenty of overtime on the line at solihull?

    I'm on bodyshop 3, new building making the new Jag etc. Started Monday and already offered overtime. Not in full production yet so who knows what's going to be on offer.

    Hmm. I'll give them a call later i guess and see what's going on.

    EDIT:

    Just spoke to manpower and the guy said they don't give outcomes from interviews, that they come directly from the site, they only book people in. Not sure if this is true because you're contracted by them initially?

    He did say that they're not taking on anymore people so I don't understand why they would waste interviewing me last week...

    EDIT::

    So after some back and forth over email with Manpower it seems that I'm in. Just need to wait for a start date!!

    :(

    Tell me your secret how you did it manpower just keep saying that the jobs come straight from site and it takes 6-8 weeks before you know either way! But I've heared someone who knew within two days they hadn't got it. So how did you eventually get them to tell you!
