    Hello there again :)

I have applied for other jobs too since I need any ( im new in Birmingham, Solihull) and I've received a call yesterday from 'Staffline' asking me if Im still intrested in the position as Forklift Driver at JLR ( I think they are conected with DHL not sure tho) obviously I said yes but I need to refresh my licence and then I can attend to an interview. My question is does any of you know more about this ''staffline'' where they work and maybe what are the wages?

    cheers.

Staffline are the agency that recruit for DHL, as Manpower do for JLR.
Not sure what the wages are, but i can find out off one of the drivers on Monday. I know that the drivers in bodyshop 2 smash it on overtime!
  • I had my formal interview nearly two weeks ago, they told me can't see why wouldn't get job! Who decideds is it manpower or jag? How long do you wait? Does age matter and does it matter if you have to give months notice also I have said I have holiday booked this year but they said that didn't matter! Any clues anyone?

People in my group have holidays booked, as long as they said before interview stage it was fine. The next intake of staff is September and it's Manpower who decideds They don't discriminate with age, gender etc. My group the age range is 18 to 48, men and women.

You will be emplyed by dhl on JLR contract. Tbh its easy work compared to manpower working on a line can be very hard with lot of pressure on you.

In regards to pay u wont get same as JLR staff. Buy dhl do get paid alot and its not far from what jlr get. But you more flexible with dhl loads of overtime. Can work 7 days a week if you want. Where as manpower/jlr dont get much overtime.

Do you know wages and working hours maybe?
  • It depends where you work can vary from 37-39. Im in fa2 and they run 2 shifts days and nights. Going in 3 shifts by end of the year.

    7 till 3.30 12 finish on Friday
nights 8.45 till 6.30 mon til Thursday

With dhl perm i think its 11 basic an hour not including shift allowance dependant on shift patttern.

    Sat time nd half
    sun double pay
