I have noticed that Manpower are only recruiting for the Wolverhampton plant now and no where else. I am really wanting to apply, but I have a few questions first that I'm hoping someone might be able to help with please.
Is there a car park on site that employees can use?
What are the shifts like there for new starters please?
And what is the pay like in comparison to other plants?
And is the work similar to the Solihull plant? (I have no manufacturing experience so need to know if I can even stand of chance of doing it haha!)
And finally does anyone have any updates on the chances of getting the short term JLR contract? Will it be years of being temp or is there potential to get one quite quickly.
If anyone can answer any of these (if only one) it would be really helpful, as it will help me to make my mind up
Thanks!0 -

Not sure about the engine plant at Wolverhampton but for the other sites it is generally £11ish pound an hour base rate, plus your shift rate which ranges from 16 to 44 percent. Usually around the 20 percent mark depending on shift pattern.
During the week it's time and a 3rd for the first two hours then time and a half. Saturday time and a half , Sunday double bubble but overtime rates are multiples of your base rate.
After 13 weeks you get an attendance allowance which is worth around £ 30 a week.0 -
Anyone know how long it will take for them to get back to me? got this email few days ago. Had my interview over a month and half ago
