Due to start my pera training on Tuesday. After your opinions on current situation and if it worth taking a risk to move to JLR I work 6-2pm at the moment and take home £330 a week after tax this is a permanent job which I'm quiet happy in. help 😁
I would definitely say yes. I've started a few weeks ago. On my two shift pattern I take home £1682 a month which averages out at around £388 a week wage and £20,188 a year take home. This is only on the 70% wage aswell so if you stick around and go to the full 100% it will be around £29,000 a year.
The work is fairly repetitive and some jobs are harder than others but as long as your a hard worker you will be ok. The pera training is boring I'm not going to lie but you get paid £13.18 an hour so not all bad.0 -

Hi everyone, been following this thread for a while. Currently i am at the wolverhampton plant and got to say in pay comparison Solihull/castle bromwich site are paid alot more. Were on around 22k on 2 shifts with jlr contract. I have heard due to new building and regulations the pay and benefits does not have to be same to any other sites. Weekend over time is capped at 33% .0 -
