Does anyone recall how long it takes for them to get back to you after the initial online test. I heard they send an email within 48 hours if you fail, last time I remember them calling me within a week but it's been almost two now and I've heard nothing back.

    Hmmm

Yeah you can be dropped off but bare in mind the place is massive and it could be a 20 min walk from the main gates to where you're working depending where you get put after training
  • I've just had a text through on my phone, saying i have one new voice mail,i listened to the voice mail and its from a company called E-PPL saying they have work for me at Jaguar Landrover Halewood(immediate start) i thought Jaguars agency was Manpower? i applied for a skilled trade roll last year sometime(with manpower) but they only had positions in the midlands since then i have returned to study so i very much doubt they are going to accommodate me.

The rates of pay you get are different depending what shift pattern your on, if your on 3 shift you get the same rate of pay across all 3 shifts.

Straight days is £336 after tax , nights is £424 after tax and 3 shift is £386 after tax. There just a few examples.

Stick with manpower keep your head down and you will get your STC , I've just signed mine 🙈

Ha, mate I can tell you, you won't get 410 in your hand unless your on 2 weeks days and nights.

3 shifts is £13.85 an hour. So 13.85 x 36 is 498.60 minus your free tax of about 192 and then your lets say 33% tax and insurance is about 394 ish minus a little bit more for Union and variation in tax and insurance.

£13 an hour is a good rate mate, however the tax man has a fair bit of your wage.

You have to remember £13.85 is just an example , of the rate you get on 3 shift! The guy in your manual lied to you, your on 70% when you start remember so the only way is up.
