Georgeyboy put some directions up for the rest of us mate on the best way to Birmingham airport where manpower gotta park. Thanks
  • Ivgot mine manual assessment tomorrow how easy is it really? Can it be done with not a lot of sleep? Didn't realize when booking it in that iv got to work night shift tonight in my current job. So prob only get around 3hrs sleep before going for my assessment :(

also just spoke to a mate who works there and he confirmed its his understanding it's 5 years temporary before getting a permanent contract. That's one hell of a long time!!! Knowing they could get rid of you at moments notice. Yeah I hate my current job an pay not that great working nights every week. But to leave a permanent job after 4 n half years for a temporary one will be one big gamble. Has anyone else taken the risk and it's working great for them?
  • Your thought must be appreciated one. On reading this entire forum I got more ideas.

I did my manual test at castle vale Thursday.. I guess it went ok, no big mistakes, however I did have to revert back to the notes sheet a few times as nerves got the better of me and was shaking all through the test..
it was quite easy though if you can get past the nerves bit..
just waiting to hear how I got on and good luck to all the people that are sitting the manual in the future....
