No. You take them home and wear them next day onwards.
  • I had an appointment for the manual assessment at the mount hotel Wolverhampton but have rang up man power due to personal reasons, they have now put me on the next available assessment, just wondering if anyone has gone today? What can I expect?

    Thanks

I did, not sure if this is why I got a start date but they rang me back the same day. Just tell them that's it's been nearly a month and you were wondering what's happening. They are quite forward coming. Won't hurt chasing up mate.

Finally got a start date 10th March aswell I waited exactly 4 weeks from my interview and then decided to ring them on this number 01217004206 and said how long I had been waiting she took my details and said she will look into it then a few hours late I got a call for a start date so me phoning them might have had something to do with them phoning me so if anyway is waiting phone the number to try find out what's going on. My interview was 2nd February.

I've called that number and all they say is they will put me on the HOT list. I had my interview on the 23rd of January.
    Any ideas

Unfortunately my oh recieved an email today saying they won't be taking his application further due to the high volume of applicants. Nearly 5 weeks he's been waiting since he did the online assessment. Looks like it's just not meant to happen for him. Frustrating but I guess he can try again in a few months time if he wants to.
  • Hi, does anyone else start at Castle Brom on Mon. (9/03/2015) 07.15 am.
Just had the phone call and told it was a 4 week contract on sickness/absence relief. No mention of any of the training ( 2 week para) that gets mentioned here by the other new starters. Can anyone fill me in with a bit more info.

Wow a four week contract, what a joke, can anybody confirm these jlr jobs were going for are for a 12 month contract, do you have that in writing? Anybody ?
  • Hi Redstar46. I have a confirmation e-mail and nothing in that states the length of the contract, it was mentioned in the phone call, but they also mentioned it could be on-going. I have nothing else on at the moment, so it's just a case of suck it and see.
  • When did you have your interview may I ask, had mine on the 19th of Feb and that was followed by the "you've completed all stages" email the next day. Cheers.
  • On the 18th. The number began with 024, I missed a call late yesterday afternoon, but they rung back this morning.
