  • My oh failed the online assessment too. We were moving house shortly after so once we'd moved he did it again with a different email and obviously a different home address. He wouldn't normally but he really wants the job, like you say you've got nothing to lose.
  • Hi Everyone,

I am due to start at Solihull on 10th March. I have never worked in this type of environment before and just wanted some advice please. What to expect on the line? What are the chances of getting through to a permanent Jaguar contact?

Any advice on this would be appreciated just to help me understand more what It will be like after the 2 weeks PERA training.

    Many Thanks

I haven't got a clue either. Haven't even received the confirmation email so I've got no clue what I need to do or bring on the 10th even tho I called to ask for it and also told her last night I didn't get it. Is there any information in that email that I need to know?

It’s pretty pathetic how they expect everyone to find their way to the right area when the PERA training starts. It’s already daunting as it is lol. This is an excerpt from my confirmation email ‘You will also need to bring this confirmation email with you and proof of ID, i.e. driving licence or passport. If you do not bring your email, security will not allow you on the bus’. Based on that I think it’s important to have the confirmation email at hand and a form ID.

Depending on what time you are due to start, you need to be at the bus top half an hour before. From the bus stop it should be relatively easy as according to the email Manpower reps will be at hand to take you the rest of the way.

If you Don't get the email in the next few days call 01217004206 and they will help you out.

I ride a motorbike so I don't need to get the bus as I can park on site. I already called thrm and she said she would send it straight away but never did. I also reminded them last night at the induction.

    Hi,
I'm currently waiting for a start date at JLR Solihull. I had my interview on the 23rd January, I have spoken to the office and all they say is to 3-4 weeks now they are saying to wait another 2weeks.
Surely it does taken this long?
    Any help or ideas? Thanks

In that case, this excerpt will apply to you ‘Should you NOT be driving please ensure that you are outside the Land Rover main reception (Lode Lane) for 5.45am to meet a Manpower representative’.

My interview was 3 weeks ago. What number have you been calling for an update?
